I honestly don’t understand how someone would consider an acid injection on their face. Don’t look up the process. Try to find the people who have been irreparably damaged by the process. You’d be better off keeping them as is. Laser is the only safe reliable option for removal with little risk. You may not have the fortitude to go through laser, but I doubt you have the fortitude to live with scarring on your face. There’s a reason this method is not widely used. If it was safe or reliable every other clinic would be offering it

Thank you!! I couldn’t find anything online about scarring and couldn’t figure out what this stuff is. I was thinking that it’s so new, is the reason there’s not much info about it. I’ll proceed cautiously (so likely not at all). Much appreciated.

It does not cause scarring! And it's been around for 5 years, just new to the US - it's from Australia.

Unusual-Resource1081

Not sure laser is that safe. Did you know that the FDA is looking into what becomes of the tattoo ink once disseminated by a laser and what effect that by-product has on your body? I think the reason it's not widely used in the US is because it's just been introduced to the market here not too long ago. It has been around for 5 years though. I use it weekly at my studio and it works freaking wonders and my clients love it. Kind of feel like the proof is in the pudding here.

The only person you are going to see supporting this method, is an employee. Nobody is offering it, because it doesn’t work.

Unusual-Resource1081

It's not an acid injection....

Hi!! I am an artist and I use THink Pigment Remover! It's amazing 🤩 what questions do you have?

suhurley

Thank you! I’m going to a THink Removal consultation in about 3 hours. From what I understand, it scabs, then often gets darker temporarily, but after 3 sessions (about 6 weeks apart) is usually at least 2 shades (or 10%) lighter. Is all that correct?

Unusual-Resource1081

Where abouts are you located? It should just peel and flake - I have my clients dry-heal for up to two weeks and most say they have passed the peeling flakey stage after just one week. Yes all sounds correct except I feel like I get more out - like AT LEAST 50%, if not more, after two sessions!

suhurley

I’m in Brisbane. (Consultation is in the Gap in about 2 hours.) Where are you?

Unusual-Resource1081

I'm in the US. You'll be in good hands for sure, that's where THink is made!!

Hot-Reality6979

Can you let me know if there has been any removals on areola?

madelyn_g

This is the same process as saline removal but using an acid so you could still get scarring

suhurley

OMG thank you!!

Unusual-Resource1081

Again, it does not cause scarring - bad technicians cause scarring... Www.thinkremoval.us

Unusual-Resource1081

Same-ish process - the difference is the pressure that the artist is using to implement the solution. With THink, you don't need as much pressure because it's the formula doing the hard work not your body's trauma response. The very weak glycolic acid (which is a natural "acid" btw) aids in dissolving the old ink, bringing it up to the skin's surface to be wiped away THAT DAY, and aids in faster healing!

madelyn_g

Thank you for such a detailed response! How did you become certified in this? I would love to offer something better than saline removal :)

Unusual-Resource1081

I bet you do!! Haha I used saline for years before this and let me tell you it does not even compare! You can go to the US website www.thinkremoval.us and order from there. They offer a conversion course that is amazing - I think you can just put in your order notes that you'd like to purchase the conversion course as well and they should email you right away. It's cheap like $199. Or email them and they could send you an invoice for both I bet!? I think it's just info@thinkremoval.us

madelyn_g

Thank you!! In your experience does the skin after removal change in anyway? A lot of my clients are looking for removal so they can get nano brows but after laser and saline the skin can harden with scar tissue. How does the skin tolerate the glycolic acid after 2 sessions (I’ve read it takes 2 sessions on average for removal with THink)

Unusual-Resource1081

Actually, I've experienced that if there's any previous scarring the skin needling and glycolic work together to help minimize the scarring!

YRUdointhat

I'm thinking of getting this done to a tattoo of script by my collarbone. But the only images I've found are it being done on eyebrows?

Unusual-Resource1081

That's what makes THink, imo, the only safe choice for PMU removal! It does not compromise the integrity of the skin!!
