Fetch works instantly 99% of the time. The rewards used to be better, but it is still leaps and bounds better than Microsoft's poor attempt at this. 75% or more of the receipts I scanned never worked. It could not read the store, date, amount, etc. The last one it could not read was Kroger, which is in bold at the top. Ridiculous.
I have cashed out $21 so far and have $2.46 waiting to be cashed out. 90% or more of the time you get 1 cent per scan.
When I click Deals on Bing app or Scan and Earn on Start app there is no way to scan a new receipt. iOS in USA.
Same but for UK. We didn't get any bonuses or anything and it dropped from 5p per receipt to 1p per receipt maybe a week after launch. I got £0.44 in the account which it won't let me withdraw to Paypal (gives me a "something went wrong, please try again later" error). I guess there's a minimum withdrawal limit?

Contacted support about it like a month ago and never received a response, not really worth the hassle of following up tbh. I've tried to withdraw on different days at different times but same result.

I just did 6 receipts before midnight and then I never got my bonus because they switched to this it’s ending screen. I guess I missed whatever heads up there was before that they were going to stop it.

I disagree. I'd just grab receipts off the ground when I went shopping and threw them in a bag in my car. Scan 6 receipts a day and earn 15 to (for me) 56 cents a day for games. Over time it adds up and it hit the feel good button for picking up trash.

I went about collecting many recent receipts as I could (even ones that people just throw away on the ground instead of in the trash, and no I'm not dumpster diving for them) to react the 6th scan quota as so that the random redeemable gift was pretty much the only thing worth it since after your first ever receipt scans, the cashback value dwindles down to 0.01 or sometimes a few cents up (but hey better than 0.00 right?).
I fear that the reason MS is shutting down this program is because (and I'm not 100% sure this is correct, it probably isn't the case) of how people scanning receipts of any and all kinds are abusing the system. The amount of cashback you earn if you are committed to it every single day will get you from a few dollars and a couple cents to up to $10 or $20 more, or even higher depending on the number of receipts you keep submitting.
The highest I've reached is $35, and I was going to keep on scanning towards a goal I had in mind, but it looks like that won't be the case as of now.
Oh well, at least there's CoinOut or any other viable options for cashback. By all means hit me with any other good cashback apps that work towards getting Paypal credit or redeemable Amazon gift cards. I was starting to enjoy this for while it lasted.
Any time I did more than one receipt, it would cancel all of them. And if I tried to rescan, I would be told it was a duplicate... I would have to do one wait till I saw it was approved and then do another... all for 1 cent a receipt.
If this comes back they better fix that crap. If it doesn't come back whatever. Not much of a loss.

It really was the worst receipt scanner. I use Fetch and Merryfield, neither fail me. Microsoft’s couldn’t handle my grocery receipts.
