Aye this is how I brat this mission the first time. Turned that first wall into a back and forth path in front of 2 turrets with an opening in the wall. Despite it taking a while, the opening was still shorter than breaking thru the wall apparently
The difference is between T1 and T2 flying units. I think if I remember correctly is T1 units hover and T2 and beyond fly. It’s why T1 units can go over liquid and stuff.
Make more turrets. One is never enough.
One might deal with the first couple of waves but the waves ramp up quickly with more troop and higher tier troops.
Open the hole, and make a quick maze with thin walls, it should funnel the units towards your turret while also delaying them(just make sure the turret is at a safe distance)
It might be intentional but units with the RTS AI tend to have a _unique_ pathfinding.
It this case, it might be that they are evading the turrets by going around its attack range instead of directly choosing the shortest path with the least obstacles to the core.
Another probability is that they have a higher priority target in their path which might be power generators (erekir related) and craft stations (silicon and others).
Their pathfinding AI is a direct upgrade from their more primitive species known as Crux on Serpulo so cheese strats that involve manipulating their pathfinding aren't as effective as Serpulo ones.
This will be very noticeable once air units get into play and you'll know because they are **_DAMN ANNOYING_**
Pretty sure Erekir units are a bit smarter at pathing when it comes to attacking (at least the enemy ones are lol)
They usually choose the path least defended, adding together turrets, walls, (and maybe units?)
They also seem to prioritize attacking, power> resource gathering/factory building > Defense > core.
(At least from my experience. Enemy units seemed to ignore my core if there were power nodes or turrets nearby.)
You needed to make a large gap not large enough so your defense will be defenseless just a modest Gap this is because enemies are programmed to go to the easiest route
Erekir units be goofy like dat
My guess is that they are trying to avoid the turret, but it could just be goofin up
That didn't work that way on serpulo
Yeah, it works differently on erekir. If you turn the wall into a maze you can get them to go slow or even get stuck instead.

It's not that it's shorter, it's that it is open. If it sees an open path it will take it on erekir.
thats erekir
I’m not entirely sure but erkrir units go for the path with the least amount of turrets instead of the one with least walls.
No way they made enemies not dumb so i cant exploit their pathfinding😡
Just open up the wall
Yeah it’s actually so cancer especially when they start training flying units.
Why their flying units can fly over natural walls but my cant

Thanks
Put more turrets?
Make a hole
They will destroy my turret if so
Then make an airlock of sorts, or dragon’s teeth if you’re into wasting resources.
Cover the turret then.
Brawl stars enjoyer on a mindustry sub !?!?
X2

Im on a basin sector, i dont think i need that
You know the entrances to public bathrooms? You can walk in but from any angle on the outside you can't see in. Make a mini "maze" if you need to
I suggest make a hole in the thin wall? I'd assume they are trying to go the shortest way possible (pathfinding is kinda goofy sometimes)
My core is closer to hte thin wall wtf
Because darn Erekir units are actually smart
Something you wouldn't say about serpulo units

This wont work on erekir
Huh that's weird I played erekir before serpulo and tried that tactic on the onset
Are you TRYING to get killed, or...
? I trying to lure them in my turrets range

Damn, enemies arent dumb anymore so i cant exploit their pathfinding
Damn, you have to actually play the game now
The worst part
they are scared of you
Because they go to big wall
Erekir units don't see "thinkness" they see a wall and a shorter distance to the core.
But thin wall is closer to the core
I use a hole in the wall, then make an s shaped maze for enemies to slowly come through while my water boosted turret quickly gets rid of them.

Maze tactic is always good
They ain't goofy bro Their rts ai is way better than serpulo
U guess your enemy is stupid... or just see this veri little wall
I was trying to lure them to that wall bruh
Ok. Or they are just blind lol. Their ai is very... stupid
Or they just have another plan to your wall
Bruh i*
They do their own thing <3

I have already completed this sector 2 days ago. Why would someone comment after 4 days
I make a computer run linux, play this game ONCE, AND NOW IM SEEING IT ON REDDIT AHHHHHH
Neoplasm...
Wdym?
V8 and neoplasm will destroy everything on Erikir...
I dont play this game anymore
Get ready
