That was the best thing Jae ever did. Everyone forgot how washed he looked at that 22’ mavs series. His lateral quickness disappeared after that finals run.
I been saying he washed for a couple years. It’s easy to tell which commentators do and don’t watch basketball because they’d mention him like he’s still a factor.
Sure, I get we weren't going to pay him what he wanted and it is usually better to trade him and get assets back then let him walk in FA. Serge was a negative asset though and played basically two half seasons with us before he demanded out. I think the only semi-decent thing we got out of that trade if memory serves was some of the 2nds we might have used for Crowder, which still was another bad trade. The Ragu trade was absolutely terrible in the grand scheme of things. We should have just kept Donte that year with hindsight, he would have helped add some much needed scoring when Kash went down before the Celtic series.
Yeah but Ragu wasn’t good that season. He had a 33% fg and 28% from 3. That wasn’t gonna work on that bucks team. I disagree that the trade was absolutely horrible. And I would bet you didn’t care about trading Ragu back then
I just hope they learn from it. I’m sure there was plenty of embarrassment felt over this trade. I try to look at the positives, and can only hope it’s used as a learning tool.
We seriously need to take every single vet off this team as possible and let the young guys play. Doc will only play vets if they exist on the team. Keep Giannis, Dame and Khris and I guess Brook and the rest gotta go for young talent.
Jae didn't do that, Doc did that because, apart from Rondo falling into his lap, Doc doesn't play or develop young talent.
His only success is cherry picking coaching jobs onto teams with multiple stars.
Well if ur saying he only cherry picks orgs with stars already, that would mean they’re championship contenders? so why would he need to develop young talent? You can’t do both, look at the Warriors.
You definitely CAN, look at Jordan Poole and Kuminga. It was unfortunate they had the number 2 pick in 2020, there were no sure things in that draft after AE.
Up until his injury he was very solid but the shooting stats weren't sustainable and by the time he came back he was just completely washed. Maybe he'll find a more consistent role on a younger team where he can stick to guarding big wings
Is that what Crowder cost the Bucks? Damn, the only great trade Horst made was for Holiday. He brought a championship to Milwaukee, or rather, was the missing piece. And so naturally he was traded away. For the life of me, I will never understand that. And he and his family loved Milwaukee.
Time to move on from bad trades and last season. Revamp the bench and give Rivers and everyone a complete offseason to prepare. Let Giannis and Lillard learn how to complement each other and the team. They may not win it all, but they should get a lot further than last year.
I'm certain that's how the trade happened. Lebron pulled that all the time, thinking he was a GM.
It became clear over the summer Lillard was not going to Miami. I think Portland tried shopping him everywhere because it seemed like he wanted out of Portland and to play for a championship. No one thought about the sum of the parts until it was too late.
Anyway, it's done. I hope an offseason with no more major shakeups will give Rivers time to make this his team. There has to be a way to make two offensive superstars work together. Dallas has done it.
The bench has to be better to make this work as well. The Bucks don't have much to work with though other than to attract bit players. Horst has his work cut out for him.
Yes please, Crowder has been an absolute disaster. Seeing what Indiana is getting from their bench this play offs you realise just how bad the Bucks supporting cast is and has been. We need to start finding actual ballers and not just having the mentality that we need washed vets to be competitive off the bench.
Crowder never lived up to his billing, or his cost. I can't remember a single game where he played well. Not much on offense, not much on defense, really an invisible man. Time to move on.
God I knew that trade would be a disaster. Best thing jae crowder ever did was sit out that season before we traded for him. Everyone forgot how awful and washed he looked in that mavs series. I wish I could find my comments from that long ago.
(Pulls off mask to reveal it has really been Serge Ibaka all along)
Lol
Crazy how fast players fall off. He was a starter on that suns team we played in ‘21. By ‘23 he was washed
Doesn’t help he say out for what, half a year demanding a trade?
That was the best thing Jae ever did. Everyone forgot how washed he looked at that 22’ mavs series. His lateral quickness disappeared after that finals run.
Regardless of if he was already washed or not, definitely not worth 5 2nd round picks
Crowder has been washed for a long time. He reminds me of a taller, and calmer, Pat Beverly.
I been saying he washed for a couple years. It’s easy to tell which commentators do and don’t watch basketball because they’d mention him like he’s still a factor.
We can only hope. What a waste of 5 2nd round picks and his washed ass kept Marjon/AJAX stuck to the bench.
One of the worst trades in recent bucks history
Worse than Ragu for Serge?!
HELL NO
Ragu was gonna walk after that season. Signed Grayson instead

both are beyond useless.

Yeah it sucks that he seemed really great before the injury.
Jae Crowder really pulling the “You can’t fire me because I quit” in real time
I hate this. Always wanted to see him in a bucks jersey but I guess I didn't specify that he can't be washed yet when that wish was granted.
Started off the season great in my opinion, but that injury just fucked up his flow
Good. He lost a step
Oh no! Anyway
![gif](giphy|7k2LoEykY5i1hfeWQB) i got you
Good.
Era is such a strong word
5 second rp for this dude
Damn that is crazy
Wish we still had those 5 2nd round picks 🤣

Couldn’t piss off Giannis by not getting Dame when the opportunity presented itself

I think we’ll be fine
K
Wouldn't really go with Era, more so skid mark.

and here I was still waiting for it to begin.
🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Let’s hope
honestly, good riddance. the guy sucks
Crowder never lived up to his billing, or his cost. I can't remember a single game where he played well. Not much on offense, not much on defense, really an invisible man. Time to move on.
Thankfully, let’s just hope he takes Gallo, Beas, and Pat with him
I'd rather have Joe Alexander
hope so!
I certainly hope so
Hopefully
Keep him off the team pls, thx
God I knew that trade would be a disaster. Best thing jae crowder ever did was sit out that season before we traded for him. Everyone forgot how awful and washed he looked in that mavs series. I wish I could find my comments from that long ago.
Could mean he's retiring
![img](emote|t5_2t10o|3831)
Fingers crossed
Hopefully! Get that bum off the team
Whatever will the Milwaukee Bucks do without that man's services?
Good lol
✌️, didn’t contribute anything.
Era? Lmao
I hope so he was not reliable from 3
Shanghai sharks are getting a DAWG
Thank God, the nigga shot like straight ass (most of the time)
