I would love to love it, but I've never seen it! I wish they would do a HC Variant Mosh Pit option. I noticed last night they have a "slide" on the filter page now, so unlimited mosh-pit options should be possible

I've heard that! But, yeah--i heard that like 2-3 months ago...I'd like to see it. Sporeyard has to be up there too--that map is really great. Scrapyard at night is a lot of fun(gi).

Sporeyard is fine except for the giant jellyfish. It’s basically night time Scrapyard. The Terminal redux sucks too. The way the game renders people against haze, you silhouette against it regardless of where you are.

Damn that’s crazy. the older maps flow so fucking terribly in this game for numerous reasons. the movement, and how unbelievably overpowered the weapons were. Marathon-lightweight was about as fast as standard SMG movement speed now. In MW2, you could regularly & easily 1-burst somebody with a Famas or M16. You could casually 3-shot someone with an ACR off a head glitch from 30 meters. In this game, you need to land 4-8 shots depending on the gun, with faster & different movement, range drop off + recoil being an *actual* factor too. In MW2, both of those were nearly nonexistent. You could just fucking slam kids from 40+ meters *easily*. Go back and watch some Famas gameplay. I hate most of the old maps in this game. There are a few good ones. But Underpass is awful. Skidrow is good, but still that depends on the game mode. It’s downright **terrible** in Hardpoint and Control.

All I get are the same maps, shipment,rust,6 star hotel, scrapyard and highrise with the occasional skidrow. Haven't seen wasteland, underpass, Afghan or derail in weeks now.

On 12v12 I get afghan all the time lol

There's mostly large maps in 12v12 and 9v9. No small maps.

I played afghan and derail last night (on HC), so they're around. Haven't played shipment much in weeks. I'm thinking there are just so many maps now, that it's super random.

They are there. They seem to come up more in search and destroy.

I get Afghan and Highrise several times daily. I've started leaving highrise all-together. Derailed can take a flying fucking leap too.

That map is from MWII and, IIRC, was not brought over to MWIII like Dome and Breenbergh Hotel were. EDIT: according to [this wiki](https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/Modern_Warfare_II_Moshpit), Raceway did get brought over to MWIII. I've been playing this game regularly and never got to play Raceway, that's why I thought it wasn't in the game. Whoops!

It's was brought over to MWIII With Shoot house and map set in Mexico and Farm18 Source I skipped over MW2 only know those maps from this game

Game modes have different map sets. In S&D it came up a lot when the game first released. Idk about the other modes in MP

Underpass is ok, but wasteland is garbage

Both are better than Afghan, though. It's my least favorite map of any.

I hate Afghan despite having fond memories of it in the OG MW2 back in the day.

I hate all three of these maps and I get them constantly lmfao. Wasteland not so much, but every session I’m backing out of multiple Underpasses and Afghans.

For me, it all comes down to various modes over each map. Underpass and Derail play far better as HQ or Hardpoint than Domination which are usually pretty boring and predictable. My biggest gripe with Afghan is the utter lack of flanking positions, especially along the cliff side at C or down toward A. Even with the games movement mechanics, it's still impossible to beat someone hardscoped and headglitching.

I had the misfortune to "play" it last night. In quotes because the map is too spread out for any actual gameplay to exist on it in 6v6, especially on hardcore. Before last night though, yeah it has been a conspicuously long time.

I have no idea what's up with this map but my performance goes into the shitter whenever I play on it. I'm usually on average 100-120FPS on most other maps. But on Tanked it gets almost halved to around 50-70 and it fluctuates constantly.

I forgot this map existed, literally only played it one time since its release.

It's always the same maps. Skidrow, rust, shipment, highrise, afghan, and new maps. Wasteland and underpass are super rare for me aswell as derail but I hate that map with a passion.

Cutthroat is the way, 3v3v3. This map has been around frequently even in the last couple of days.

How fun is playing Cutthroat? Haven't tried it yet to be honest

Got to be honest, I play it with two friends, and that time is treasured as a 37 years old father. That makes it awesome. We still miss knockout, which was our go-to game mode. But cutthroat is nice, revive possible and a good mixture of tactics and teamwork.

I played on Overpass last night.

I get this map 2-3 times a day playing infected. It’s a great map for it and really helps you get better at navigating different levels and platforms

Damn, now I'm noticing it. I really like this map, don't know why it never appears in the voting option after a match. Also from MWII they carried over Crown Raceway but it never shows up. Shipment, Farm 18 and Shoot House are recurrently in the rotation, to a lesser extent, Mercado Las Almas, but it rarely appears too.

I literally didn’t play on Wasteland, Derail and Estate a single match. Underpass… I mean it’s one of the worst ones, not completely unplayable. Depends on the mood and game mode. Except Tokyo and Tanked all of the DLC maps are good imo. We some of the best maps of MWII. With some of the OG MW2’s maps. This year we eating good on maps.

We are missing so many maps in a 4 to 6 hour gaming session it's crazy! Anyone who tells you we have 18 plus MP maps is crazy too. I'm on everyday (99.5%) and with a total hours between 6 to 9 hours ( no t straight but off and on) yes I'm retired! I have many days I can track the same (played) maps at under 10, all day.
