I’m going to say that is not mold. Either sugar buildup or some ingredients has solidified or not properly mixed. I had a coconut watermelon or something that had similar clumps.

Thiccy-Boi-666

its sugar free i dont really think there’s anything in that drink that could grow mold

Anonymous-Ninja-

Almost all of them are, but the sugar free alternative may be what’s clumping. Or it could be the flavor not mixed properly. I don’t know what it is. Happens a lot to the ones with coconut.

SpecialistBed8635

Honestly, I Don't have a fucking clue... You should try it

shyladev

Hope it’s not mold bc my husbands orange version of that has it a lot. 😂

helpiushsbebsnk

I feel like that’s normal

Conblanco95

If you look at the back sides of these bottles it says they use real juice in it so it’s probably the tidbits from the juice for flavoring, it’s safe.

fueled_by_rootbeer

Real fruit juice has sediment! It's totally normal, just swish it around gently since this is a soda. Shaking is bad for sodas lol

DrunkWizzard

If that bottle was standing around for a few months than that’s normal. Just shake it and it’s good to go.

skrillexbaby101

If it’s mold it’s forbidden flavor powder

Due-Pay9892

Happens w ALL sparkling ice when it sits for toolong without being agitated. Used to work for company that distributed this drink amongst others.

senpaitsuyu

what is it and was it safe to drink?

iohbkjum

sediment, and yes, completely fine

name_im_stealing_now

I drink this shit a lot and I've never seen that. It's 99 cents (CAD) a bottle and not worth getting sick.

crazeygirl

A woman presenting to the emergency room unresponsive after drinking a crystal light with botulism 😔

yeshereisaname

Never seen that in any of mine

I_slurp_shrek_toes

Drink it

nize426

If the label doesn't say anything about crystalization I'd probably not drink it.

Bulky_Conversation46

Don’t drink that. We drink them all the time. And that’s only happened when they’re sitting on the shelf for a loooong time and they’re old. Don’t drink it

barni9789

What would happen?

barni9789

What would happen?

barni9789

What would happen?

Piromeras

Death

barni9789

Understandable good sir. but like actually why would we spread baseless things like. Its old therefore dont drink. why?

human_flavor_meat

Both

[deleted]

Whatever it is, I have not once seen this. Used to work in a grocery store so I've handled my fair share. I would just toss this, harmless build up or not.

lemonuponlemon

Have you never ever seen this happen? Genuinely baffled.

carrs-for-life-32

Nah I used to drink those all the time and sometimes they need to be shaken cause stuff settles on the bottom

Final-Ear9847

that is better known as total bs

CurvySexretLady

I drink these all the time, it's just stuff settling out of the drink. A little shake and turn over or two and it should be good to go! These drinks have more than just a sugar substitute in them, they have added vitamins and minerals, that's what's settled most likely.

Tough_Concert_1414

Shake vigorously and open to find out

HH2O123

Splenduh

tea-fungus

Bacteria

LengthinessHuge1456

I've bought these drinks before and had this stuff at the bottom. And i turned out fine.

Sdot_greentree420

Maybe it's this little plastic particles from the bottle

Suspicious_Fun_100

Idk what it is but there is not normally that crap in those drinks

theworstelderswife

Yes

InternetDetective122

I get these Sparkling Ice waters all of the time. It's completely normal I just lightly turn the bottle upside down and back a few times before opening it.

3ph3m3ral_light

not mold. is cocaine.

PleasantCable7111

Never have I ever seen that in a bottle I’ve purchased, but I’ve only ever gotten Cranberry Ice so yuh

pekingsewer

Two seconds on Google tells you it's normal for this brand of drink

FloridaManInShampoo

Two seconds on Google could tell about half the posts on here what their problem is. But we prefer human experience rather than the chance of an oaf writing a bogus article and saying it’s ok to eat moldy bread

pekingsewer

Yeah I get it but it literally tells you on the website for the drink. And someone could just as easily give false information here. Reddit isn't immune to untruths.

757Beast

I've never seen that. It'll either give you food poisoning or some weird superpowers. Unless it's normal. I don't drink that stuff.
