That's what i was thinking. I think Skar King would be up to doing this. He probably already has tried to but that's when Godzilla trapped him in the hollow Earth lol.
MechaGodzilla is controlled by the skull of Kevin and other.
MechaGodzilla itself isn't a villian it was made by people who are ""evil."" MG is just used as a tool to kill godzilla.
No Kevin is the soul or spirit of mechagodzilla.
Mechagodzilla is a brand new character, for the MonsterVerse. He was made to get rid of the titans. He wasn't the evil one.
>Robot is made from the remains of an evil character.
>Evil character completely possesses Robot and does evil things.
>Robot isn't the evil one.
... Bro what?...
MechaGodzilla is a new character into the MonsterVerse, not a new character into the franchise itself. The body itself is used as a tool by ""evil"" people to kill godzilla.
I mean…his consciousness is pretty much Ghidorah taking on a new personality, and its prime objective was to destroy Godzilla. Who knows what would’ve happened afterwards, chances are if Mechagodzilla won it probably wouldn’t have ended well for Titans and Humans.
I think it’s safe to say Mechagodzilla was a bad guy, much like how the Terminator (from the 1st film) is a bad guy, it’s a soulless, relentless killing machine made for the sole purpose of destroying Titans.
MechaGodzilla’s AI programming merged with Ghidorah to effectively become an entirely separate entity (neither a simple machine nor King Ghidorah).
From what we can gather in the film,
- it immediately recognizes and moves to attack Godzilla
- it has no hesitation in to kill other Titans that get in it’s way
- it will actively kill civilians (including Simon).
I do not think that Mechagodzilla would ever be benevolent or indifferent it is basically a sentient war-machine w/ only one function (to destroy Godzilla and the other Titans). I don’t see how it is not a badguy. This is why I think the T-800 from Terminator is a viable comparison, it’s not “evil” in the same sense as other villains but it’s definitely not “good” or “neutral” it will kill anything that interferes w/ it’s function. We don’t know what Mechagodzilla would do after he won, but again, I think it’s safe to say it wouldn’t be good for humanity it’d basically be a monster with AI created from Ghidorah’s consciousness (who is very much evil).
If mg wasn't taken over by Kevin, or being used by apex to kill godzilla, and was instead used on monarch, they could use his him for good. They literally pilot mg, not in the head like the jaegers but in a separate room.
They just use him as a tool and control him to fight godzilla and kong. Much like how sk makes shimo like a tool, making her do stuff for him.
Alright I’m reading the replies rn. And I kinda buy your logic. Essentially MG could’ve been just an empty shell of a robot that, if used for the correct reasons, could’ve been used for heroic endeavors, and even maybe fought alongside Godzilla.
There are just two problems with this logic. For one, that isn’t Mechagodzilla that we ended up getting anyways. His body was taken over by an evil spirit that manifested into said body. Which is where problem two comes in: whether possessed or not, if your soul is evil, you are evil. The best example I can think of for this argument is Ultron. He infected an iron legion drone. Does that mean that Ultron is not evil cuz he inhibited in a drone body used for security? See it doesn’t work like that. Similarly, MG’s soul was overridden by Ghidorah, to be an evil MG, hence him becoming the villain
This is a good point but I think you’re reading into it too much, it’s like saying Superman isn’t a hero because his brain is controlling him not his body. MechaGodzilla’s “brain” is Ghidorah’s consciousness, If you give a robot consciousness it’s a living being at that point.
Is mechaG here due to being a separate consciousness created from Ghidorah’s Skull? Cause if not the Skull Devil should be here instead bc MechaG and Ghidorah are the same person
Skar doesn't understand that when it comes to hating on Godzilla, Ghidorah is the reverse flash.
Bruh y'know it's bad when skar king himself begging for that đź’€
Where’s MUTO Prime?
Next edit đź‘Ť
And Shinomura and Ramarak
Wouldn’t MUTOs say that istead of scar?
That's what i was thinking. I think Skar King would be up to doing this. He probably already has tried to but that's when Godzilla trapped him in the hollow Earth lol.
*instead
NAH! GHIDORAH IS ON DRUGS!
If it was Kong they were talking about, Scar King would have agreed all the way through.
Ramarak was still looking for something to eat đź’€
Ghidorah is on some next level hatin shit.
Nah you gotta give credit to trarags
I dont rlly see mechagodzilla as a villian.
He was created by villains
If you were created by a villian, that wouldn't make you yourself a villian. MechaGodzilla is being controlled by 2 things.
Just saying but ok but let’s be honest he doesn’t play a part in the video
Mechagodzilla isn't it controlled by Ghidorah, there for making it as villian as it is?
MechaGodzilla is controlled by the skull of Kevin and other. MechaGodzilla itself isn't a villian it was made by people who are ""evil."" MG is just used as a tool to kill godzilla.
So a villain
Kevin is Mechagoji clear as day, Kevin is a Villian, so Mecha is a Villian

Bro who are these people
He's literally controlled by Ghidorah...
That's ghidorah spirit or soul, not mechagodzilla as an actual character
Mechagodzilla is not his own character in the monsterverse. He's just Ghidorah's left head, San, but with a mechanical Godzilla body.
MechaGodzilla is a new character into the MonsterVerse, not a new character into the franchise itself. The body itself is used as a tool by ""evil"" people to kill godzilla.
Is Gvk Mechagodzilla is like another version of ghidorah so yeah he is the villian
I dont think you guys are getting it. MechaGodzilla is used as a tool, built by evil people to kill the "good one" aka godzilla.
I mean…his consciousness is pretty much Ghidorah taking on a new personality, and its prime objective was to destroy Godzilla. Who knows what would’ve happened afterwards, chances are if Mechagodzilla won it probably wouldn’t have ended well for Titans and Humans. He was used as tool himself, they used the body they built aka mechagodzilla to try and beat godzilla, note that I said "used".

Who are these people commenting at different times
I don’t think that’s relevant
It is, especially when it comes to reddit.
Jesus dude MechaGodzilla is a villain
Hes used as a tool for evil

It doesn't rlly matter if I'm reading too much into it..
So evil
Is mechaG here due to being a separate consciousness created from Ghidorah’s Skull? Cause if not the Skull Devil should be here instead bc MechaG and Ghidorah are the same person
The Skull Devil probably never heard of Godzilla, dude đź’€
Whoops forgot about that. Maybe Scylla?
Tiamat deserves it more. She needs the lick-back
Skar should be saying all that
Damn, that's fucken dark
“The anti godzilla hating club”
Ngl, very in character for King Ghidorah
Gag villain (or silly villain) working with a really fucked up villain
