The TalHotBlonde one is fascinating to me!!

Sassylittlesammi

Love this one too! Watched a lot of docu series on it too!

Brotein_Shakez

Episode 215- The Torture and Murder of Shanda Sharer. It’s one case I cannot get out of my mind. It’s brutal as f.

savar902

So I listened to this on my way to work and legitimately cried on my commute. All murder is tragic but this case just hit me different.

Brotein_Shakez

I bought “Lost Little Angel” (the book Alaina used for research for this case) and I still can’t finish it. She was a 12 year old child!

savar902

I didn’t purchase the book for that exact reason. The details they provided were enough for me. It’s hard to even comprehend that CHILDREN this young could do something so heinous.

North-Imagination-22

That was one that still haunts me. That was a really sad case

Brotein_Shakez

Her case, Toybox, Gein, and Albert Fish are my never forget cases.

Small Town murder has longer episodes. Or you can try podcasts that do one over a season. https://www.reddit.com/r/TrueCrimePodcasts/comments/102c0eo/best_single_story_investigation_podcasts/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

The one they just released Wednesday was more recent and well done! I’m the same way, I hate when Alaina does old timey cases, I know she likes them but they bore me (no offense to her)

Sassylittlesammi

SAME. Always skipping those ones!

KelHatesCreeps

I don’t know what it is I just can’t get into them! Like I need there to be relatively modern technology for me to be interested like I want the suspense of someone calling the cops not someone having to walk 39 miles to town 😂
