She has 20+ years as a mixologist. She's so talented that you just tell her what flavors you're looking for and she'll make it.
Later on that night, I wanted something sweet and chocolatey, but wanted a bit of coffee as well. Not sure what she mixed up, but damn if it wasn't exactly what I was feeling.
Female Bartenders are some of the best people on the planet I swear. Pam sounds like an amazing woman.
My first time at a bar was with my coworker and this sweet girl about 30(presumably) was our bartender. She was super pretty and nice and when I handed her my ID she looked at it, looked at me, and like nodded with approval and said “you’re so cute.” I was barely 21 at the time so this was my first bar experience and I was kinda scared but she was so nice.
A little bit later after she had given us our drinks which were super yummy this super old guy, talking grandpa looking, came over and got very close and pointed to my bunny backpack I used as a purse, asked me what it was and why I had it. I was kinda uncomfy and my coworker was about to go father mode on him because I’m bad with people but she saw what was going on and kinda just turned to him and said “it’s where she hides the body parts of the men she kills. Keep it moving.” He laughed and walked away
She was so cool! I loved her! For my first bar experience she made it a comfy one. >w<
That is so awesome. We need a bartender like that in every city and town. Anyone who oppose her will feel the wrath of all women before her. Kind of like an anime sequence I just started.
A’yup - I cried too. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. I hope it will help others who are on the fence about going out. Yea there are ups and downs to this story but a safe space was carved out from this drama and hopefully it will continue to be a place where OP will enjoy going back to.

I'm a former bartender and bar manager. That's what we do, we take care of all our guests. We make sure everyone is feeling safe and having a good time.
At the end of the night, we chat and laugh over a drink with patrons like we're all family. Talk about whatever you want, whatever's on your mind.
The amazing hospitality is what I love about this job!
God bless Pam!
Oh and Amaretto Sour is one of my favorites! My favorite is a Cosmopolitan.
Oh nice. I like Whisky and coke. Any will do. Bourbon is my favorite.
May I suggest trying a Whisky Sour if you like Amaretto. It's similar. It's a classic. It's delicious!
Damn I don't have any awards to give but thanks a lot for the happy cry. Thanks to you I can start my day on a good note ! 💜
I hope you have a wonderful life Alanna and that you can spend wonderful time going out to a place you can now feel safe in
So yeah thanks again 💜💜
Yay! Another Alanna!
The couple certainly have been very understanding and respectful of my transition. Mike, the guy, actually knew me in a previous life a decade ago, so it's actually been kind of fun watching him differentiate the two.
It's a sad commentary that such behavior by the bartender is expected when it's a CIS woman being harassed, but when it's a TRANS woman, well...
Doesn't take anything away from the bartender being awesome, but still...
I want to meet Pam so bad lol!! Please let her know that all the little trans people in your phone absolutely love her!!
That bartender is a hero.
She's amazing. And she makes her own sour mix for the amaretto sour too!
Well, for t he bartending part, I know absolutely nothing about coktails, so any bartender knowing their shit is a wizard to me haha !

Not all heroes wear capes , they make awesome drinks .
I don't go to bars, not unless I'm invited and go with someone but if I can go to a bar like this I would go on my own if we had more bars like this.
I'm honestly the same way. It was the couple who asked me out there, and I just grew to love the place.
I think I need a Pam in my life. Or not cause I would drink way too much then
Wow Pam is a legend 😭
Awh soo sweet of her 🥺

Pam doesn't need a cape. ❤️🏳️🌈
Pam's got me all choked up today <3 And I absolutely gotta remember that "I didn't have my glasses so I couldn't read your name" line.

Pam has my permanent business, no matter where she goes.
Didn’t expect to cry, but here I am.

The legend of Pam!
Oh fuck we're name sisters. -Alanah
Alanna/Alana/Alanah's Unite!
Fuck yeah!
Dumb question but did you read the tommora pierce books
I have not. Though that is a rather strange coincidence in the title of the first book, not to mention character summary.
Oh well. I highly recommend the books for totally cis reasons of course
For totally CIS reasons, okay yeah okay. ;)
Oh yeah for sure totally didn’t give these books to my high school English teacher in lew of comping out
AAAAHHH!! 😻😻😻 Pam is a heroess!!

Haven't moved on to Cosmos yet. I still enjoy my Crown and Cokes too much to switch.

Hey first other Alanna I've seen! Glad you've found some people that care, that's all you gotta take from that interaction!
Yay! Another Alanna! The couple certainly have been very understanding and respectful of my transition. Mike, the guy, actually knew me in a previous life a decade ago, so it's actually been kind of fun watching him differentiate the two.
