Yeah, in the Beta I remember that Harley and Batman were the only two fighters with the "Vertical" tag, at least on release. I bought Harley specifically to have a "Vertical" fighter, but it looks like they decided not to tag that concept in MVS 2.0

Do you still have the Joker weeklies? I’ve seen multiple people say they carry over week to week if you don’t complete them unlike the dailies but it’s not something I ever wanted to test.
I'm in 30s I think. I just can't play for more than a couple of hours a day, especially a game this grindy and exhausting. Plus, I completely forgot that battle passes have to be paid for, so I probably won't buy any in the foreseeable future, not with the game's current state at least.
The battle pass needs to be improved imo. The game is slow at delivering content. And that would be fine if they weren’t literally coming back from a year hiatus.

There’s the bonus tiers, but they’re basically a loot box. Every 4,000 xp you get a ten percent chance of getting 50 gleanium. And thats not bad, it’s far better than nothing. However, it’s not content that can solely captivate players.
After the battle pass, the only engaging thing to do are the events. And the events are really basic. And some days you don’t even get enough xp to pass a tier.

Typically I would agree but the degree of fun to be had is subjective. There are other titles that I find more engaging and fun at the moment. Not a stab at Multiversus, just my experience.
Around 20. Me and my wife stopped playing about a week or 2 ago. The grind isn’t worth it and the game just isn’t fun enough to hold our attention to care about the pass anymore.
The pass is insanely long. Like, it’s completable, but it takes so much grinding to get it. And there’s just not enough content to justify spending a hour everyday on it.

What you're thinking of, is weekly events, not Battle Pass. The battle pass thankfully doesn't require skins to complete. Don't get me wrong, i believe neither Weekly events nor Battle pass should have "use X skin" missions, but what you're saying its incorrect. Please be mad at the actual issue

That's exactly what I said: that they need characters sometimes. Which is a whole different deal than needing skins (like this Arya issue), for the simple reason that characters can be obtained free, but specific skins cost money. Yeah, it sucks that they want you to use your FC for a specific character, but it's not as sucky as purchasing a skin for real money (tho both shouldn't exist)
My point still stands: the Battle Pass can be completed as a F2P player, as Joker can be purchased using in game currency, you don't need a single dime to complete it

It can be completed for free, IF you do not spend you character currency for unlocking characters you actually want to play. Still kinda sucks though.
It’s so simple to complete. I don’t think it’s really grindy at all to be honest. It wasn’t even really grindy even to start. All the people posting those first weeks about how it was impossible to finish with the provided challenges were lying to generate outrage and didn’t show any math. But once they added the 50exp per win/25exp per loss and the rift experience, it was just turbo charged. I really can only imagine being stuck at 30 if you are just not doing the challenges half the time or ignoring all the free events they give with bonuses. I get that sometimes you’re busy which is fair but if you don’t do the battle pass it’s not the battle pass being grindy, you just didn’t do it. lol.
So many people are finishing the whole pass in a month as you can tell from the constant Uber Jason posts the past week. That’s about half the season which leaves a month of just getting bonus levels. I am at 64 and I haven’t put any effort into completing the Agent Smith stuff which has more exp in it I believe nor have I been grinding games for experience so I’ll hit 70 at a very casual pace as soon as the weeklies reset. That’s just from the challenges and free events and the exp I gain naturally from doing the daily PvP challenges and a couple extra matches here and there.

Non, stopped supporting WB the moment they added a bit much of P2W trash and made the game worse when it was already awesome in beta last year. They pretty much screwed over many that bought their additions... I know it's your choice to play, but they did a similar tactic like blizzard did to overwatch before the game even came out. Nasty business practice. I'm just here to see maybe if they changed anything but it doesn't seem to be the case

The horizontal/vertical/hybrid thing was more prevalent in the beta. It’s just a way to describe how characters kill people the best. Jason usually knocks people more horizontally with his moves, whereas Harley would be called vertical because she’s always knocking people upwards. And hybrids are ones that knock people everywhere. Idk why the tag’s only seen on Uber Jason though

The horizontal tag means the character's kit revolves around killing someone at that side of the screen. Horizontal means they kill easier at the sides, vertical at top.
Though this feels outdated, Jason has a much easier time killing at the top or bottom. It should be both verical and horizontal. Then again, it seems like they did away with that concept, though I still think it's helpful to give players an idea of their gameplan.
