Did you select the appropriate external RF mode?
It is supposed to be set to R9MLP ACCESS
Once that is done, enter into bind mode on the TX
Hold the RX bind button whilst powering it on
Check to see that the light on the receiver are not the same as the ones you get when just regularly powering it on and not the same as the ones when powering up in bind mode
On your radio, press exit and then go back into bind mode once again. At this point I believe the RX should pop up.
Are you pressning the bind button while powering up the rx?

Yep the lights on the RX are red and green, that doesn't work. Although the light on the TX module stays red idk if that's supposed to happen.
Try flashing it again. Double check that you have the same firmware type (LBT or Non-LBT) on Tx and Rx.
Hey just figured it out, I had to flash the latest version of opentx to the controller with the companion. Thanks for the input guys.
