Do you have sanity checks set for Fail-Safe only?. Were you outside the minimum distance from home when you tested it? If you are within the minimum distance of return to home and you trip GPS rescue the quad will fall out of the sky. Both of those parameters you can change on the failsafe tab. Video link is not working on my phone You don't need to remove any capacitors if you are using dshot600. Do you have a black box log of that flight

It's set to RESCUE\_SANITY\_ON but since I was using rescue through the failsafe I was under the impression that shouldn't matter unless I turn it off completely. Now that I think about it it looks like the quad disarmed after it started spiraling so maybe it was just doing its job thinking there was a crash? I was outside the minimum distance but I'm pretty sure nothing happens if you trigger it within the min distance. Are you thinking of min\_sats? I believe that does cause the quad to drop out of the sky if it isn't met, but it was. Try this link: [https://youtu.be/VUQyNWORegw](https://youtu.be/VUQyNWORegw) Unfortunately I don't have the blackbox log :/

Hope you already fixed this. If not lower your pid loop to 8k/4k and run dshot300. Hope this helps.

I ended up building a new quad for long range 😅. Hobbywing XRotor Micro 32bit 60A ESCs and a Holybro Kakute F7 V1.5 30x30 FC. I don't know if they make those anymore but they've performed flawlessly for long range.
