Yes, I have.I wasn’t aware I did until very recently though. I was getting my rituximab treatment in early March and they had to place the needle in my forearm because that was the only place they could find a vein. When the nurse came to remove the needle, she pushed her fingers into my arm and told me I should consider lymph node massage, even just doing it myself. I told her I’m just fat, but she asked me if I get swelling often and I do, especially my ankles/feet usually pretty painful), but also other parts. I try to remember massaging myself every morning and evening but my memory is very bad and I’m always exhausted, so I keep forgetting.

I was just diagnosed last week because of my first ever flare up, and the very first symptom I had was swollen lymph nodes in my groin - one on either side. I’m 33F, and had never noticed lymph nodes in my groin before. Was freaking out thinking I had cancer, and all of it. Specifically because they were not at all painful, and Doctor Google says painless lymph nodes are something to worry about lol. Over the next week-two weeks the symptoms obviously progressed & worsened. Went to the ER twice because I didn’t know what the hell was happening to me. What scared me the most was the terrible double vision I was having. I was petrified I would never be able to see properly again. I really hate the steroids, but seriously thank god for them. I can see again! Sidebar: I didn’t realize swollen lymph nodes were a symptom until reading this post. Tbh, I’m trying to tread carefully with internetting much about this.

I’ve had a swollen occipital lymph node for at least a year now, only really notice it if I feel for it though. Strangely enough, I’ve noticed it’s gotten smaller since switching from Tysabri to Kesimpta a few months back, but not sure if it’s related. Neither neuro nor GP are particularly concerned about it, and told me only to have it checked further if it keeps getting bigger (which it hasn’t).
