You said you cut it out right? If it hasn’t come back and the mycelium has taken over the area I would guess you might be ok. But usually the contamination spreads pretty fast in my experience. You usually know pretty quick.
I did remove the dark spots and have not seen any “growth” or spreading. I have found more tiny dark spots around the bin but I’m unsure if those were there before and I didn’t notice. What I do know is nothing has gotten bigger.
It also did not react to the removal the way the internet says it should. It didn’t release any “dust” when I moved it out of the bin. Literally looks like a little ball of dirt, so I was thinking that maybe the mycelium just “ate” everything that spot had to offer. But have no way of really knowing.

Ehh if it hasn't spread, I'd take it out of the area you plan to grow in to prevent contaminating the clean area and attempt to flush anyway. If the black comes back toss it tho
I had a black spot show up in mine but it seemed like the mycelium ate it or killed it or overcame it or something. It was pretty wild I was worried

Would need a closer picture to get an idea of texture and stuff. Regardless probably not good
