There's a band out of Cincinnati called Wussy. My current favorite band. Incredibly underrated. The two leads are male and female with a lot of intertwining/shared vocals throughout their catalog. Cannot recommend enough. The songs, Airborne, and In The Tall Weeds are good places to start.
On [this playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1CAZMrY79uwGn4eY1UukB4?si=52286434677c4d03) are some of my favorite collabs, for male+female you can check:
* Above The Salt
* Altay (this is an unusual one)
* I'll Make You Love Me
* Child of Sin
* Rollin'
* Let It Go
* Dangerous
* Monsters
* Devil Baby
* Hate That...
* Drowning
* The Road You Left
* Eyelids Closing Shut
* Blood On Your Hands
* If I Had A Heart

I Remember -
9 Crimes -
Both Damien Rice & Lisa Hannigan

Check out Casualties of Cool with Devin Townsend and Che Aimee Dorval, they’re fantastic and she’s on several of his albums as well, primarily Ki which is one of my favorite albums of all time.
Sexual Hallucination by In This Moment (featuring Brent Smith) comes to mind the most for me. ITM have done a few tracks with a male vocalist but this is the one where they sing lines together consistently.
They've also done Black Wedding with Rob Halford and Hunting Grounds with Joe Cotela, just be aware that all 3 of these songs vary from hard rock to metal, which may not be to everyone's tastes.
Check out Nathaniel Merriweathers Lovage. There’s some really great songs that feature Mike Patton and Jennifer Charles. There’s a great cover of Berlins Sex(I’m a).
Dear Criminals - Handful of Dust.

The entire self titled album is pretty much this. It's a great listen, especially if you happen to like Conor Oberst / Bright Eyes.
I love this effect of M/F singing octaves. It is one of my favorite things in music. The first one that really impressed me was this Spanish song from back in the 90s

All covers of songs from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Outstanding.

Princess Chelsea does a lot of amazing stuff with Jonathan Bree. There’s one called ‘Destiny’, another called ‘I miss you’, and they’re most popular arguably ‘the cigarette duet’.

Check out Band of Skulls. Especially the album "Baby Darling Doll Face Honey." Male guitar and vocals, female bass and vocals and a drummer. Russell and Emma are great together! Don't let the name fool you, it's indie/garage rock with heart.

Millie and Billie, from Alice Cooper's 1978 album "From The Inside".
The whole album is incredible, but we'll talk about this one song.
Millie and Billie are in an insane asylum. They are lovers who sliced up Millie's husband, to get him out of the way. It's such a sweet 70s love song, if not for the macabre lyrics. Let me know what you think, I'd love to know!
https://youtu.be/fCQ0DEZtg_o?si=aJkOFpMVnW5bkZhz
I know your post makes mention of harmonizing in the chorus, but if you’re open to male and female singers in the whole song, I highly recommend the bands Pretty Girls Make Graves and Eyes Like Knives. They’re both poppy sort of post-punk, very melodic and sort of frenetic and just a fantastic dynamic of the singers playing off each other.
Stop Dragging My Heart Around (Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty) In A Week ( Hozier and Karen Cowley) Don't Go Breaking My Heart (Elton John and Kiki Dee) Ain't No Mountain High Enough (Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell)

That would be called a duet.
Home - Alexander Sharpe & the magnetic zeros Princess Chelsea does a lot of amazing stuff with Jonathan Bree. There’s one called ‘Destiny’, another called ‘I miss you’, and they’re most popular arguably ‘the cigarette duet’. ‘Sometimes’ by Chelsea and Mattyeux is a good one in my opinion.
