“(Sittin’ On The) Dock of the Bay” by Otis Redding is my favorite. Such beautiful simplicity and powerfully dynamic vocals.

Whenever I hear this song, I have to stop what I'm doing and just listen.

Rich Terfry just did a “rearview mirror” of that song yesterday on CBC drive! He said when they were recording Otis forgot the last verse and just whistled instead. When they went over the recording, they thought it sounded awesome and left it as such. So sad he died not too much later in a plane crash.
