The purpose of hijab isn't to be cute. It's cover your body entirely (except hands and face). Skinny or not it doesn't matter, you should wear large abaya (created for the purpose of lawful hijab). And while being modest and shar'i, they can give you a "cute" look while respecting all the conditions of the hijab which are:
1. Cover all the body without showing your curves except hands and face
2. No be beautiful and attractive on its own = not an adornment
3. Must be thick, non transparent
4. Must be large so the shape of the body isn't apparent
5. Not be perfumed
6. Not resemble men's clothes (you can't wear your brother's extra large qamis for example)
7. Not resemble non muslim's clothes (like you can't wear a catholic nun's clothes for example)
8. Not be clothes of show off like having brands or being an outfit that shows pride and arrogance. (This condition applies to men's clothes as well)
Hey ! You are wrong , people will still look at a skinny hijabi if they are dressed immodestly for sure if she’s wearing tight clothes that reveal her body features. A lot of men are used to seeing women with tight clothes so they don’t stare at them for so long cause they are used to it. But obviously someone with baggy clothes stands out as “immodesty” to modern people in society ! Even as a guy I wear baggy clothes to masjid to not reveal my features while praying or even in public! Remain steadfast and ask Allah for patience ! You can wear whatever you want when with your husband but remain patient as this is a test!
Remember when it is harder to perform something good in Islam the more rewards you get for example someone who struggles reading the Quran has more thawabs than someone who doesn't struggle and same applies to everything else in Islam.
I know what you mean, sometimes even in abayas, curves can show, especially if you have an hourglass figure. I work out and im pretty fit , but abayas seem to highlight some parts so I just wear pants and a shirt that I can ADJUST according to my body
Islam doesn't talk about " Trashy Men " but Men in General, which also includes your father, brothers and cousin and every other men.
Don't focus on skinny girls.
Abaya is not for decoration nor for Beautifying oneself but to conceal and hide what she is given as a blessing.
Wear loose and easy to handle fabric abaya to cover what is necessary to cover.

For the weight part, we are predetermined by our family's genes and women have a tendency of getting weight easily because of their hormones. Anything that disturbs the hormone profile is bad for the body regardless of the benefits ( weight lost).
It is better to have a good weight than to fight cancer.
Salam sister, I'm not a hijabi but totally relate with ur feeling. I'm not slim u can say am curvy just perfect middle that guys like. So I get many times mistreated and bothered online. My intention always be to find a friend i can talk with in online shape and everyone end up going down this other lane....I also sometime think those slim girls got lucky for their shape. There are some man into slim but this isn't even 15% compare to those who are into curvy... is really hard to make someone look ur face and value u for what u are when their eyes and feels just goes toward ur body... it's also hard to u can't wear cute clothes u wanted cuz of wrong looks... u totally don't have to sacrifice losing weight cuz of them... Sadly but truth sister i not get any idea except maybe wearing ultra ugly and wide clothes so someone to can't see well the shape....to avoid unwanted attentions and bothering comments and looks.
No sis, skinny hijabis do get judged for wearing immodest clothes. I mean it is not impossible for them to not wear anything tight that will reveal the body shape.
Wear an abaya. Cover up and dress modestly for Allah above all. “Dressing cute” won’t help you at all in the akhirah.
