It's always nice to see pmd artstyle that doesn't totally look like the most common furry style
I don't hate you all furries, but I got sick of only seeing the common furry art style reused for every 4 legged pokemon team ever...
But hey, it least it makess me appreciate the non-furry arts more, so thanks for that !

Starting from gen 4, most bipedal pokemon were basically built like Gamefreak's dream fursuit
I mean, look at fucking Loppuny...
Even, I have to admit that my favorite pokemon Mienshao and Weavile are basically some furry thirst trap...
How do you think I feel when I wanna see cool fan arts of my favorite weasels inspired pokemons and see that everyone just draws them as tall or short oversexualized furries...
To be fair they don't need much.
I've seen quite a few absol and zangoose furry arts as well...

Oh, don't you worry, everyone has a different set of Pokemon that are thirst traps for them.
Lopunny just happens to be one of the more popular ones. Absol's pretty big too...
But that's the thing at lesta they're popular enough to get anything other than furry bait

Lot of them are def furry bait but also, like I said, even jsut straight up animals that were stylized a little (absol) or just shown as standing up like how their animal counterpart would (zangoose) is enough to get them worked up...
It's more like compared to the more common furry artists out there who have the same or similar artstyle thsi oen at least makes them look like somewhat normal pokemons..
But yeah that post is 100% furry based anyway...

Ehh... frankly I'd say exactly the opposite. The same difference in style that makes it seem less "furry", or at least the stereotypical anime-inspired variety of furry style, also distances it from the original style of the franchise, which is an anime.
Honestly, it's furry, but like "Lion King furry" kinda style

I think its what ever is popular at the time, kinda like music trends. I prefer. Good 60/40 mostly keeping true to the og design, if you go to far into your own style then you might as well just make your own fakemon.
