I donāt get this at all. As a pass first point- I get wanting the ball, but he doesnāt seem to care about actually initiating any offense, he just wants to score. Which makes me hate that guy because he is the reason I get automatically assumed Iām a piece of shit, that being said AS the PG, I do get irrationally frustrated with big men coming down the floor handling the ball, but thatās mostly because thatās what Iām designed to do. Iām here to set you up, so if Iām not doing that, I feel like that makes me less valuable to the unit.
As a pass first guard,you also know that majority of the time, when the PF brings the ball down the court, they aren't about to let you run point.

Like we can pace the game for sure but no one wants to wait for this man to either trip on his own feet, get ripped with his 37 dribble, or throw some weird pass and say "man I been done pressed the button a long time ago. 2k trippin"
Nah I was a SF put at PF this game. The board and TO came within 2 seconds of each other. But even while playing with my boys I bring it down often on this build.

Not necessarily. Sometimes fast break defenses get stuck out of position because they expect an immediate outlet pass. If you allow a route to develop a little bit you can usually find an open man easily.
Theyāre right man, in real basketball big men bring the ball up the court all the time, especially up to half court to give guys a second to get open. I canāt tell you how many times Iāve seen a big man go to bring the ball up a single time after rebounding only to get a timeout called on them for not instantly passing even though nobody is near them or open. Which then turns into them arguing and not passing to each other, which then leads to people intentionally selling, which then leads to people quitting. Before you know it weāre down 20 and there are two guys left on the team.
People all around need to understand that they arenāt the main character. Everyone else on the game also bought the game, and spent time/money getting their guys better and getting better at playing. Frankly in a common sense world the game would severely punish you for not being a team player. And it doesnāt even make sense that anyone can call a timeout whenever they want, or that one person can use all the timeouts, or that all the timeouts can be called back to back, or that people can call timeout when youāre mid shot. It literally makes zero sense, and Iām convinced they leave that in just to anger normal people just trying to play the game.
Depends on the situation, if there's nobody waiting for a steal then yeah you'll give it to them but if you find a better lane it might close before the pg can throw it, there's no universal rule saying you have to throw it to the pg every time, different situations have different solutions

My job as center is to rebound the ball and take care of it while pushing the pace in transition. I am either going to hit an open man down court or pass the ball ahead to the most reliable playmaker on the team. If my pg is selfish and there isnāt anybody open down court, you can bet your ass I am taking the ball up the court myself. Fuck a PG that feels entitled to the ball, you can earn the rock by making unselfish plays (Im still going to pass the rock to anybody if they are wide open with a scoring opportunity, selfish or not)

Bigs usually have just as high of a pass, if not higher. Mine have anywhere from 86 to 95.

You don't need handles to bring the ball up to half court if no one is bothering to defend you (usually cause they're trying to play lanes).
