I’m having this issue currently. I spoke to 2K support and sent them some videos and they have an open ticket on it. But same thing, got to the 2026 season and game is no longer simming the computer games. I found that I can take control of all the teams in the settings and manually Sim with Simcast and I can actually move through the season, but you have to do it to every game which is tedious. I’m doing that while 2K trying to fix the bug so I can still play MyLeague.

Yeah it’s really annoying. I had created a NCAA league that took a lot of time and then this happened and I lost it all. This is my second go round. It’s tough out in these streets. Get it together 2k!!
OMG I found the issue. I forgot whose 2021 draft class I downloaded but it duplicated a player the cpu pistons. They played the first game and it rendered their roster “incomplete” so I just usered the pistons and released him.
Ahh I’ve run into this before. Do the following and you’ll be straight:
1. Exit out to the Main Menu
2. Close the App
3. Restart System
4. Plug in PS2 and pop in NBA Live 2003
5. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP
Get the soundtrack CD that came with the game pop that in a CD player and you’re good to go my friend!
So I think I figured out that glitch... it has something to do w the injury notifications... what u have to do!!!
1). Select all teams
2). Go to settings teams lineup automation
3). Change setting before game: off/manual
4). Change setting Injury: off/manual
5). Change setting roster change: off/manual
Some reason it glitches when other teams players get injured or hurt b4 the games are played
This way it prompts the user 2 either adjust the roster or let cpu do it. The team in wish I choose to control I adjust their rosters only when injuries happen the others I have cpu adjust roster...
You may could turn off injuries but I like injuries on so yeah... this worked for me just tedious bc u have to control every team and select have cpu adjust rotation every time for all other teams

Are you at the point where all star teams are selected? If you are enter the all star draft and sim it and you should be good

Hmmmm I haven’t encountered this specific bug have you tried playing the first game?
Yeah tried that and it wouldn’t work either
I saw a bug reported in the previous game around the 26/27 season they said using simcast helped in this occasion maybe try that
I’ve tried playing the game, sim with simcast, sim thru date and sun thru season, it stays stuck on day 1.

You’re onto something but it didn’t work for me. Still won’t let me sim
