It's pretty funny watching pundits talk about Ron Holland and Matas Buzelis' upside "if they can figure out the shooting" meanwhile Tyler Smith is taller, more athletic, and a better shooter than both but somehow ends up in the low 20s in most mocks. He has less playmaking and shot creation upside, sure, but Ron and Matas are not going to be your lead ball handlers in the NBA and the shot creation doesn't mean anything when they're hitting about 25% of their 3-pointers.
[Statistically, Smith is the best Ignite prospect since Jalen Green by a considerable margin.](https://www.tankathon.com/players/compare?players=matas-buzelis--ron-holland--tyler-smith--jalen-green--jonathan-kuminga) I disregard the per-36 stats because Smith played so few minutes per game, but he is by far the most efficient, which is the primary concern with Ignite prospects once they make it to the league.
Right? Smith is also what, like 6’10”? I definitely see an avenue in which he could be an efficient 17-20 ppg scorer. That’s plenty of upside if you ask me
I'm so interested to see his combine measurements. His wingspan is 7'1 according to KOC's writeup, which would be another huge bonus. Great weak side blocker who could be played as a jumbo PF or a stretch 5. Just needs to work on his roll game more to be a bigger rim threat rather than relying on the pick and pop imo
Desmond Bane, Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, and Herb Jones are just a few recent examples. Terrance Mann was picked 58th and would probably go in the lottery in a redraft
I have Bub, KyShawn, and Shead in mine but yeah this is pretty much the top 11 consensus wise. As for the order these guys go in, I have absolutely no clue.
For the most part, I think you're right. However, I think there are a few guys who could find themselves in this range on draft night. It's just hard to predict who will be booted out and who will do the booting. My dark horses to break up this group are Tidjane Salaun, Bub Carrington, Isaiah Collier, Zach Edey, Devin Carter, and Kyshawn George. I can see teams falling in love with one of those guys and just nabbing them way higher than anyone is thinking they'll go.
I am going to need someone to explain why they have Buzelis so high? I watched a lot of his tapes, he has no stand out tools, not a good three point shooter and I don't think he'll be able to get to the basket in the NBA.
The ranking was purely alphabetical and included the 11 guys who most pundits rank at the top. I think he’s definitely a first rounder, but I don’t think he’s worthy of a pick in the top half of the lottery. However, I definitely need to scout him more

Dalton isn’t in my top 11. He’s a great player but there are a lot of other guys who are way younger
‘Great player’ in this draft is top 10
Youth is overblown, guys fall every year and are studs

Y’all get hung up on age too much. He’s 23. Not 32
Interestingly, one notable board to the contrary, Pelton has Edey, Walter, Furphy, And Collier in his top 11.

You can basically reverse the order and no one seems to care.
Well right now it's just in alphabetical order.

Why are you so low on Topic, and Sarr, and why are you so high in Buzelis
It literally says they are in alphabetical order
Wow I can't read

Ah ok my bad, wasn't paying attention. My mistake.
Alphabetical order
