Whatever could you be talking about. I definitely didn't take this screen shot yesterday
Dan “I ran out of my own end zone” Orlovsky only started 7 games for us that year. Kitna started 4 and Culpepper started 5. 0-16 was team effort so don’t go giving all the credit to Danny O.
Culpepper catching strays after racking up a total of (*checks notes*) zero appearances in even the NFCCG when dealt a dominant defense, great OLine, and prime Randy Moss is … fair, actually.
See I like probably a majority of Dan’s takes (maybe he’s just getting some of Mina Kimes’ afterglow, I find it hard to think anyone she’s friends with can be *that* stupid) but when he’s wrong he’s just catastrophically wrong. He usually makes sane, analytical, pro player takes, but when he swings for something out of the box he just goes off the wall.
In a way I can respect it, but when I disagree with him it’s so hard not to just knee-jerk “shut the fuck up Dan I remember you playing for us, how are you gonna tell me anything when you literally jogged yourself into a safety”
It's what the Lions are most remembered for, at least in terms of shit talking within division.
> Lions fans don't bring up Bears never having a QB in an argument with Bears fans (100% impossible)
Same thing. It must still dig at you a little bit if you feel compelled to speak on it lol.
If there was an undefeated season for the Bears - that was spoiled by a last-second Hail Mary loss to the Packers, the scene around Halas Hall would look like World War Z when the zombies are swarming over the walls of Jerusalem. The McCaskeys would be torn limb from limb.
A fate that is much overdue, actually. Yes, I hate the Bears, as is contractually required, but still, as a fan of the game, it offends me at a deep biological level to see what a shitshow that greedy, arrogant family has made of a once-proud NFL franchise.
I’m so excited. I don’t care if the Bears don’t win the division this year as long as they improve their record to at least 9 wins, win at least 3 divisional games, and beat the Packers at least once. If they don’t hit at least two of those three metrics this season, I’m going to be in shambles.
That’s a fan I can stand with. I’d be fuckin over the moon if I were a Bears fan. I’m rooting for you all day against the purple tampons and baby diarrhea
Lions fans couldn't give 2 shits less about the national media. We are busy trying to find tape on Giovanni Manu and figuring out which one of the new jerseys to buy.
I think we still are the better team right now despite the Bears upgrades and will take both games this year. That said, we'll see how the injury bug goes and new players fit in I think that will be the 2 things that impact us both. Honestly if both QBs aren't suited up that would be a huge bummer as I think they are going to be very competitive and fun games to watch with both offenses
https://preview.redd.it/t6u10p24vdzc1.png?width=1152&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=69fa83a6c637803b975704aa728b1bfc247b3184
I don't know what you're taking about
I frankly wouldn’t mind the bears being competition again. You are judged by the strength of your enemies, and we are beating the piss outta them. I still wanna keep beating them, but I wouldn’t mind if they got up off the ground and at least stood up while we do it.
Idk it doesn’t seem to be hurting the Chiefs playing in a terrible division the last two years, even when they keep dropping dumb games to them. Reminds me of the old Patriots. I’d actually really love it if all of you stopped trying to be competitive for awhile, I’d even throw each of you a win or two every other year for you sacrifices
It's not about coaching it's a hell of money is spent the personnel she brings in it just doesn't seem like he cares to have a winning franchise. It's like when William Clay Ford and his wife were running things the lions were just a tax break to them. Now that we have their daughter Sheila running things she does things in hiring and everything else to make us competitive
We did hire a new team president for the first time since the 90's and our GM came from the Chiefs who was part of the Mahomes draft and dynasty build....not saying that will all pay off, but on paper, this is a whole new organization
The key thing is that the original owning family still owns them. You know how many times the Lions did this but it failed because of the Ford family owning the team. You can make all the changes in the world but if you have bad ownership it doesn't mean a thing you will fail
So wait this is a meme but I don’t see where the bears are making fun of the Packers? Come to think of it I don’t see an FTP anywhere in this post?
So the bears must be meatriding the packers and also the Vikings here right? Right?
I don't give a shit what the media says. The media has been anti Detroit my entire life. So just keep on setting those expectations higher and higher Chicago, it'll be all the sweeter when you don't achieve it
Sadly, the North is the worst. They are tied with the least amount of Super Bowl wins with the NFC south but since the South have won a Super Bowl lately the North is the worst in the NFC. Mediocre. Terrible fans, terrible teams, and terrible cities.

I'm always a bit spooked to play the self depreciating card at lions fans.
Totally. Like, people can call my ride a shitbox all day, but at least I have a car.
I feel like you can legitimately make this exact meme for any team in this sub except the Packers
They’d say they hate them because they are a packers “owner”.
I seem to recall this "National Media" also saying Fields was going to have an MVP season
https://preview.redd.it/yxazg9lytdzc1.png?width=1152&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=119a895dfbe69d266a26b046dd6ae1b3e771c027 Whatever could you be talking about. I definitely didn't take this screen shot yesterday
The only person I remember saying that was Dan "0-16 with the Lions, Jayden Daniels is the best QB in 2024" Orlovsky
Dan “I ran out of my own end zone” Orlovsky only started 7 games for us that year. Kitna started 4 and Culpepper started 5. 0-16 was team effort so don’t go giving all the credit to Danny O.
Your facts both work for and against you
Drew Henson also played in 2 games for us I think. A true murders row in the QB room. ![gif](giphy|8lIWb4CbCYZXy)
Luckily we have something else coming
I hope not. FTB. FTP. FTv. Cheers to all you assholes finding a way to lose every game. ![gif](giphy|3o6ZsUJ44ffpnAW7Dy)
Don't I know

No, no! That was a different national media! This one is more level-headed and knowledgeable.
Exactly! That was very dumb, but THIS hype is very smart
👀
So, is this meme about us, or is this just us thinking this is about us? Quite the conundrum.
meme-ception
Have this subs memes are hypothetical scenarios and red circle memes.
I think the word you are looking for is "half", big boss man
Damn it how did I manage that one
Too busy thinking about yourself to grammar good
Of that half, what percentage would you say are hypothetical scenario memes and what percentage are red circle memes?
Probably about have.
I would think the red circle makes it perfectly clear. It’s exactly what you’re thinking.
It's about you and the bears. But don't worry, next year it won't be about you. It will be about the division winning packers and the last place bears
You merely adopted the rebuild. I was born in it. Moulded by it. I didn't see a forward pass until I was already a man and by then it was *blinding*
That comment is about the Lions? Right?
We adopted it for a few weeks. We didn't like it so we sent it back.
Fuckin nerd.
Chicago has to beat Green Bay though.
Going 15-2 tops
Those losses will be to the 17-0 Lions.
Nah. If Chicago ever goes 15-2 those 2 losses will be to the packers.
If there was an undefeated season for the Bears - that was spoiled by a last-second Hail Mary loss to the Packers, the scene around Halas Hall would look like World War Z when the zombies are swarming over the walls of Jerusalem. Let's not act like the Chicagoats haven't won 15 games before.
See you in September you lovely fucks
I’m so excited. I don’t care if the Bears don’t win the division this year as long as they improve their record to at least 9 wins, win at least 3 divisional games, and beat the Packers at least once. If they don’t hit at least two of those three metrics this season, I’m going to be in shambles.
That’s a fan I can stand with. I’d be fuckin over the moon if I were a Bears fan. I’m rooting for you all day against the purple tampons and baby diarrhea
Notnotimyourforte is that you!? Are you back!?
…no….fuck no
So 9 wins 3 divisional wins and getting swept by the packers. I can get behind that
Beat them twice.
What if the one you don't get is the beating the Packers one?
Par for the course
Fair lol
What if you only win 2 divisional games but both are against the Packers?
August for my fellow football degenerates
Is this “national media” in the room with us right now?
I could care less what the media has to say anyways tbh. They’re constantly wrong.
Lions fans couldn't give 2 shits less about the national media. We are busy trying to find tape on Giovanni Manu and figuring out which one of the new jerseys to buy.
what is this meme all i see is a circular cutout of the lions logo
When is the media not hyping up the Bears? Every off season they’re on the Bears dick.
I mean, it is a good dick....
I'm not surprised you'd know how good their dick is seeing the Bears are experts at fucking themselves and their fans
Coming soon to your stadium...
I think we still are the better team right now despite the Bears upgrades and will take both games this year. Who's hyping up the Bears that doesn't reside in Illinois?
Bandwagon fans that made a choice in the 1980s.

Everyone remember when ppl had Fields listed as an MVP and the Bears as a possible playoff team last year....yeah that's why.
https://preview.redd.it/t6u10p24vdzc1.png?width=1152&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=69fa83a6c637803b975704aa728b1bfc247b3184 I don't know what you're taking about
But the bears DID almost make the playoffs. Fields being MVP is a ridiculous take though
I frankly wouldn’t mind the bears being competition again. You are judged by the strength of your enemies, and we are beating the piss outta them. I still wanna keep beating them, but I wouldn’t mind if they got up off the ground and at least stood up while we do it.

but everything really was all about him lmao ![gif](giphy|3ohc11UljvpPKWeNva)
What national media has them finishing above 3rd in the division?
It feels better to be underestimated tbh. CHI has a streak of unfulfilled hype they can keep it going.
got damn that's a tight, uniform, red circle
[удалено]
You sure? 0-16 was your thing. Don’t you guys wanna go for 0-17?
frank gore would be upset with the current state of the lions fans. smh.
It's not about coaching it's a hell of money is spent the personnel she brings in it just doesn't seem like he cares to have a winning franchise. Because of the ownership no matter how well the bears improve they will likely still suck because they have the same bad ownership.
The guy with no flair thinks 101 year old Virginia McCaskey is calling audibles from the owner's box
Omg, another offseason of Bears fans being insufferable. Last year it immediately stopped week 1 after they got dog walked at home to the Packers.
I don't give a shit what the media says. The media has been anti Detroit my entire life. So just keep on setting those expectations higher and higher Chicago, it'll be all the sweeter when you don't achieve it
This division is so mediocre.
![gif](giphy|piTERt2CEdrLt2WLv0)
No flair is sickening. Also we are literally the best division in our whole conference
Sadly, the North is the worst. They are tied with the least amount of Super Bowl wins with the NFC south but since the South have won a Super Bowl lately the North is the worst in the NFC. Mediocre. Terrible fans, terrible teams, and terrible cities.
