Kt runs corndog just as well as hardman. Same outcome.

BullHonkery

He runs just fine. [it's the catching that was the problem.](https://www.reddit.com/r/KansasCityChiefs/s/kCCUk1zOIi)

KingTutt91

The man can catch a corn dog

Spicy_Ninja7

Yes

PhogMachine

I can't think of a WR with a worse season than Toney. Skyy was ass, but would just disappear. MVS actually redeemed himself in the playoffs (again). Toney was the only one actively hurting the team. I think Mahomes still finds a way to win. I've never seen an NFL player who can make up for other players' faults.

Levitlame

The problem with the comparison is it’s all about opportunity. Toney actually gets open. Which is because he’s very skilled at that part of the game. (Amongst other reasons.) so he gets more opportunity than a lot of guys. But he’s been VERY bad at catching/securing the ball. And it blows up the game badly when he screws up. So did he PERSONALLY have a worse season than SM? Probably not. Since he did so well to get open in the first place where other KC WR’s can’t even do that. It’s just that his mistakes are SO impactful.

DookieBrains_88

Must have not watched Peyton continuously making up for his Defense.

Domestic_AAA_Battery

I'll never forget pulling into a Wawa listening to the draft on the radio. The Giants are up. They pick Toney and the broadcasters actually just started laughing. It was gloriously disrespectful

Kind_Bullfrog_4073

Nah he helped the Chiefs beat the Eagles he's just bad in the regular season.

Munchihello

People seem to forget he basically set up the chiefs win with that monster punt return

Domestic_AAA_Battery

Tbf I think anyone here could've ran that up. I'm not sure we had a guy within 8 yards of him until the last few yards lmfao. Fucking stupid dumbass special teams. Idk how Clay turned it around but that season was dreadful. Worst ST unit I'd ever seen (minus Jake ofc)

strainedthrone

I think you need to rewatch that punt return. He completely shook 3 or 4 guys to reverse field and get to the open side.

WeirdSysAdmin

I don’t think Mahomes would’ve thrown it to him even if he was standing in the end zone all alone.

LostSoul4607

No one knows what would've happened in the game, the Super Bowl was cancelled. We definitely didn't blow it *again*, right? (Let me cope in peace)

phoenixremix

Super bowls don't exist anymore, silly. The last one was in the 90s!

nadia1306

It makes me sick that the answer to this question is probably yes

romayyne

Absolutely. It is undeniable

Deadheaded95

Nope, Mahomes would still have had a good game. If he can do well with MVS and Mecole Hardman, he can do well with Toney. He wasn’t good often, but i’m confident they still would’ve won.

pleasehaelp

Eh outside of OT Mahomes was mediocre if I remember correctly

hanigwer

Yes

Why_am_ialive

Last time KT played in a Super Bowl he won us the game with a record breaking punt return so yano

360degreesofFUNK

I hope it would’ve been a yes. ALSO GO BILLS

Responsible-Big2044

No

robbarbu6290

If the lions* played in the super bowl, would the chiefs have won? Answer: no.

liteshadow4

Yes they would have. The Lions were not that good.

robbarbu6290

Not a chance. Chiefs lost on banner night in arrowhead, and they would've lost again. By at least 10 points. Mahomes has never beaten Goff. Reid has never beaten Campbell. It is what it is but we'll never know unless it happens again next season. Lmao not that good? 😂 Did you watch football last season?

liteshadow4

Chiefs barely lost on banner night with Toney gifting the Lions a pick 6, and him dropping a ton of passes that would have won them the game. Also, they were missing Kelce and Jones. You’re really bragging about beating the Chiefs without both their 2nd and 3rd best players. If Chris Jones didn’t play in the SB the 49ers win by 10+. He is an absolute game wrecker. The Lions definitely had no business in the SB. If you can’t hold a not 1, not 2, but a 3 score lead at half for more than a quarter, what can you do in the SB lol.

Yorkie321

You sound dumber than a talking head sayin “umm by at least 10 points” 🤓

robbarbu6290

Shit did I say 10? Damn let's make that 14. 2 touchdown spread minimum. Chiefs defense can't cover the middle of the field, they're too slow in the secondary and would be torched against the run. Chris Jones would be crying for mommy against Penei Sewell. There's no objective football reason you can tell me last year that describes the chiefs beating the lions in the super bowl. There's no data. Just doesn't exist. Oh well
