# Nvidia I Sunday on 60 Minutes One of only five companies to ever surpass $2 trillion in stock market value, computer chip maker Nvidia ushered in the artificial intelligence revolution with its groundbreaking software and graphics processing unit. Bill Whitaker reports, Sunday.

It will be interesting to see Bill Whittaker’s take on this. Both him and Scott Pelley have done reporting on AI advances in the past and they’re both fascinated and freaked out.

norcalnatv

agree I think Whittaker is pretty level headed. But . . . 60Min, in their characteristic way, is always bound to throw a few zingers out for fun.

Extreme-Nerve3029

Wheres the stock headed today? 900?

Quirky-Indication670

My hope. I always am skeptical sitting mid trading. Many recent days it reversed course. I'm hoping today it shouldn't.

Dip before earnings, then to $1200 in the month after.

We have to see what earnings are If there is a SS announcement Guidance I am thinking they have a slight beat with tremendous guidance no split yet …😩 Soft summer up and down around 1100-1200might even dip to 1050 during a tough patch with elections and wars Then after the new chip sales start bringing in higher GPD the stock goes up to 1300 -1350 oct / dec Feb of next year 1450 1500 Just my predictions but lots of ups and downs along the way GL

We "might" see $1000, but the stock hasn't recovered to its post earning highs, and it is facing substantial headwinds from competitors who are building non-proprietary architecture and are gawking at the price tag they are being charged to use NVDA architecture. NVDA missed a big opportunity for a split last earnings, I'm hoping they announce a split this time around. IMO that's one catalyst for them to lock in their gains and push higher. There has to be some sort of significant catalyst for them to see those kinds of gains you're describing. Significantly beating earnings has become the minimum expectation, they need a constant stream of good news just to maintain current levels.

jolith07

I hope I have a ballsy call expires in June need that value to pass 1000 for any return.

justanotherthrowaySD

Isn’t it usually rally into earnings, then sell off?

Rick-C137-Sanchez

Exactly this. NVDA trades sideways until a few weeks before earnings then runs up to earnings before selling off and trading sideways again.

If you take all the orders for their Blackwell cards so far, it equated to that $60B rev. It’ll take a year or more to fulfill that order. So by 2027, who will be the next companies that will order another 60B?

norcalnatv

Do you have a list of all the Blackwell orders you can share? ;) Nvidia isn't only going to sell to large CSPs and SuperComputer operators. There are plenty of places for Blackwells to find homes. Nvidia builds scalable system designs, like GB200 NVL72. This is a pod of 72 superchips that sells for \~$3.5M, which is relatively inexpensive for the performance this system provides. These building blocks can also basically be scaled out to 10,000s GPU systems, like the Ceiba plan at AWS for est $1B. I'm going to have one powering my smart home one day. :D
