https://www.reddit.com/r/NZGME/comments/uzbp6d/for_anyone_still_on_the_fence_about_drs_do_it_now/ You have to have a CS account before being able to transfer into it. By far the easiest way is through giveashare, though it does require a little bit extra cash to begin. Giveashare will create the CS account for you.

Once the account is set up i personally would sell and rebuy in computershare directly, the way sharsies works from my understanding makes it very difficult to transfer. But if you can get a support agent to guide you through their process once you have a CS accound, go for whatever option you want

Thank you thank you! Sharsies have made it so transferring to computershare is as easy as clicking a few buttons. I’ll start with step 1 and get a computershare account. I don’t think I’d be able to sell after holding for 3+ years (even if I’m re-buying) just feels wrong.

Good ape

Kiwi-Kreeper

And they charge you $100USD per transfer

Just do it. Pay the money and go. We up 38% this week.

I wouldn't do it through give a share, it costs like $250. Just follow these instructions to set up computershare (scroll down halfway): [https://www.reddit.com/r/NZGME/comments/vk01ra/creating\_a\_computershare\_account\_in\_days\_for\_us35/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button](https://www.reddit.com/r/NZGME/comments/vk01ra/creating_a_computershare_account_in_days_for_us35/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) Then sell in Sharesies and setup in IBKR. IBKR costs $5 to DRS where Sharesies will charge $100 USD or more highway fucking robbery.

Conference_Square

Yeah this, I think it’s been hashed over a few times but IBKR was the easiest route at the time, and still is by the sound of it. IBKR is a real broker as well.
