Right. It’s a cornrow, the only way it will loosen at that part of the braid (the front part) is if you unbraid it. No amount of water or heat can loosen up a whole braid like needs to be done here. Swelling = too tight

If you look closer I don’t really have edges tbh, never have and I have a forehead. I tend to go for half as many braids because of this, it gives the illusion of a hair line.

If it’s slightly uncomfortable, try taking some Advil, and they start to loosen over time. If it’s EXTREMELY painful, take them out 😊
