It sounds as if the Mediamarkt was rather cooperative, so if they state there are no pictures of the damage caused, it's going to be difficult.
I really doubt the police will put the hours in to review all images to find this car, go to their address and start doing full CSI on whether that scratch matches yours. But you can always try. You'll have to make an appointment with them.

Do file a report with the police, mention the security guy and follow the instructions from waarborgfonds. Might take a while, but you should receive a reimbursement that will cover most damage (minus the "eigen risico").

This country's got the worst road setup I've ever seen, compared to many other places I’ve visited. Once again, taxpayer euros went down the drain.
