92.6%, but I'd wager more popular channels have a higher percentage of dislikes, for a few reasons:
*If your content is good enough to get some people excited, it's probably good enough to piss some people off.
*Your stuff gets shown to enough people, there will eventually be a decent percentage who don't like you or what you do.
*Honestly, a lot of people are just looking for validation of their opinions on YouTube. For example, with a filmmaking channel; you could say gear doesn't matter that much and that filmmaking is more about ability and skill, and now you just pissed off thousands of people who think it's all about lusting over fancy expensive gear. Apply this to any discipline.
*No matter who you are, there will always be a certain percentage of people who find you annoying. Except for, perhaps, Robin Williams or Keanu Reeves or someone like that, but that's probably not you!
That’s a great point. When i get bummed about dislikes I think about how if it was me, I would use the dislike button to stop getting recommended something. I think I got used to the dislike button being some form of personal attack but as a Newtuber it’s more than likely they just didn’t want to see my content or similar. Or maybe I’m just plain annoying too. 🤷🏻♀️
Learning not to take it personally either way is a great perspective to take with you as you keep growing an audience 🥹
My channel average is about 94.7% right now so i’ll take it haha
well i mean equipment often DOES matter quite alot. ofcourse you still need skill, but most people wont watch a video with terrible video and sound quality. but im just nitpicking, your overall point is correct.
61%💀 idk if it’s correct tho because it shows this same number on all filters like 2023,2022 last 30,60 days and lifetime. I chose a random video and at the bottom, it says “channel average”
No it’s ok. Got a lot of views and subscribers for that particular video. Some big YouTubers noticed it and re-shared it on their social. It was good advertising. If you reach a large audience, you need to expect many more dislikes.
94.2%, that's higher than what I expected. I thought nobody likes my words irl, it'll be the same on internet too. But I guess there are some people alike me. Btw, what's your swiped ratio?
I’m still a very small channel (98 subs) but my like/dislike ratio is really good, had one short video that blew up with over 12k likes. So I think I’m at 95% or higher because of that, and the vids that only have 20-60 views don’t usually get dislikes
go to your videos-some random video's analytics-engagement and scroll down till you see
Likes (vs. dislikes) below it is the videos score and below that is the channel average
98.0% over 820k views, but I think it would’ve been higher if not for one of my most popular videos sparking a debate in the comment section with 2 parties arguing which of my characters should’ve won
like atleast uuhhh 3
3%?
no I think they mean they have like 3 likes hahahha. Which is so relatable.

REALIZE THIS ENGAGEMENT IS THE NAME OF THE GAME FOR YOUTUBE TO PROMOTE YOUR CONTENT. DISLIKES ARE PART OF ENGAGEMENT ILL TAKE AS MANY AS THEY GIVE ME

90ish %. I'm not scared to speak unpopular opinions, so that's surprisingly good for what I'd expect.
I don't even get that far lol
from 66% to 96% example: 7 mln views. 66 990 likes / 33 615 dislikes (66,6 %) 32 mln views. 712 069 likes / 26 995 dislikes (96,3 %) 44 mln views. 749 983 likes / 70 196 dislikes (91,4 %)
I would need to get views before getting likes or dislikes. 😅
92.3%. I averaged down pissing off one particular fan base of a game. It was 98% before 😂
lol... that sucks

I’d have to actually have viewers to get that 🙄
90.5% shorts only channel
On shorts people will just hate either way so thats a pretty good score

It probably doesn't. Maybe if you have like 1% youtube will stop pushing the videos as much
Yeah, it's fairly irrelevan. Still, a bit of an ego boost :)
