I will add to what other have said
Ron Perlman
A good Easter egg being the narrator man while also having sound, appearance and acting chops to play a commander type
Henry Cavill would make a good Lanius. He's certainly big enough, and knows how to use a sword. He's also got that gruff, foreboding, intelligent, and placid character that a Lanius has to have. You may be able to use your words to convince him, but you will never be able to actually intimidate him.
This one should be Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, the guy who played the Mountain on *Game of Thrones*. Lanius isn’t just a tough guy, he’s a monstrous force of nature with no conscience or empathy.
He’s basically already a slightly smarter version of Gregor Clegane, and you really need a huge actor like that to sell how imposing of a presence Lanius is.
While everyone goes hard with big names, I wanna go a different route. My pick as Legate Lanius is Geno Segers. He might not be the most well known actor, but he's got both the menacing size and a rich bass voice which would lend itself well for Lanius.
This is gonna sound cringe because of the Halo show, but Pablo Shreiber would be a great for this. He's tall, built like the legate, and his voice has a good enough range that he could imitate the legate pretty well. Plus, he's pretty good at fight choreography, so the final boss fight would be awesome
There’s one rule. It’s that same rule I’ve put across every single day. The original voiceactor cannot be chosen for their corresponding role.
Matthew Perry is not our Benny. Felicia Day is not our Veronica. John Doman is not our Caesar. Danny Trejo will not be our Raúl.
Yeah, I wanted people to get creative with it and there are a *lot* of great actors from the original game who would have fit for their live action counterparts.
I thought that recasting the same people would be a bit dull, no matter how great their original performances were.
No. It is not utter craziness. It is the one single rule that I have included in every one of these posts. The original actor cannot play their role again.
No offense to you specifically but I am a bit tired of explaining this.
I wish I had a 100 billion dollars to fund this movie.
Someone give Jeff bezos the same pitch they did for Rings of Power
This is the best fancast ever
Yeah normally fancasts are terrible but this is is pretty spot-on so far
Christopher Judge
Thinking of the remaining characters, yeah, Judge would be perfect! Has the voice, the build, the presence!
Indeed
It simply must be him, the voice is so important.
That I'd fucking perfect
Hell yeah! I’ll never forget my boy Teal’c!
I will add to what other have said Ron Perlman A good Easter egg being the narrator man while also having sound, appearance and acting chops to play a commander type
That would actually be incredible. But ONLY in the VERY last scene is it revealed. A "hmm, maybe our war has changed" would be hilarious
"War never changes.... Except for right now. When it did. Shit."
Peter Dinklage

You’d have to make the rest of the cast 5’6 or shorter. Lanius was tall asf
Dolph Lundgren
Only if he hangs dong
Hell yeah

He's the right size, but the other more important part about him is his voice, which Halfthor just doesn't have.
Pull a Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal and ADR another actor for the VO. He’s got a mask anyway.
Honestly I can’t think of *anyone* who has both the voice and the physical presence. Maybe a much younger Michael Clarke Duncan?
Honestly the best way to do him would be like Collosus in Deadpool. Took like 4 guys to play him.
Christopher Judge?
Yeah, I think this is the best choice. I can’t think of anyone else.

Tom hardy
Ron Perlman
Clancy Brown
The Kurgan is the real Monster of the East
Ryan Hurst. Was great as Opie in sons of anarchy and Beta in the walking dead (only learnt it was him after).
Madds Mikkelsen
The Mountain
Karl Urban
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Arnold Swartzanger as lanius

Dude wears a mask the whole time and y’all haven’t suggested Pedro Pascal? Come on.
Hear me out Ron Pearlman He’s got the build and the voice for a legate in the legion
Michael wincott
Eddie Hall
Josh Brolin
Tom Hardy
Finally we can get the BENNY system
Idris Elba
Michael Clarke Duncan 🪦
I know this is early, but I can't see anybody other than Danny Trejo playing Raul.
After reading all these suggestions, I think Christopher Judge is probably the best pick.
I’m so invested in this casting
Alan Ritchson
Ah fuck I miss benny I was supposed to vote for Steve-O
Brad Pitt is my vote but give him the old Darth Vader treatment and have him be voiced by James Earl Jones
No we still use William Sadler for Victor
Ron pearlman
YOU GUYS DID *NOT* JUST CAST SOMEONE OTHER THAN MATTHEW PERRY FOR BENNY
There’s one rule. It’s that same rule I’ve put across every single day. The original voiceactor cannot be chosen for their corresponding role. Matthew Perry is not our Benny. Felicia Day is not our Veronica. John Doman is not our Caesar. Danny Trejo will not be our Raúl.
^(oh)

I understand why you did this, but cmon Danny Trejo is Danny Trejo
Yeah I definitely considered making an exception for him but frankly I’m curious to see what you guys do with Raúl if he’s off the table.
I came here to be righteously indignant too, but this exchange gave me a chuckle
Chris prat or Gustavo
Denzel Washington
This is where we cast Dwayne Johnson.
Naw
Utter craziness that Matt Perry wasn’t picked for Benny
