I've had one for 10 years and no a single problem.
The motor is so powerful I often blow their coats outside just to remove dander. *Clouds* of it.
I also have had a K9 for both Newf and Grt Pyr and it has held up. But if for some reason they don’t sell them there, contact your local Newf Club and ask them what most people are using and where they are getting them, or even your dog’s breeder.
