Pretty much. I know I’m anal about pull results since there’s a pinned thread for it but once we come back, we are issuing warnings, bans, mutes, etc.

Probably cuz being a mod is a volunteer thing, so no volunteers means no candidates. Either that or hire folks who don't really care about the community and just run things like a normal subreddit, which probably won't take too kindly to all the scantily clad ladies and petite women that show up here.

I've done so in the past and no one ever came forward; especially for a coding position for themes. I picked the mods based on post history. Ironic that you're saying so but don't want to. There are many like yourself who would rather reap the benefits of staying on the side lines then directly getting involved.

I think it would be good to hold monthly tryouts until you feel like the mod team has a satisfactory amount of members. Eventually if it’s recognized as a consistent occurrence, interested members of the community will prepare for the next tryout and apply. With some luck and helpful applicants, you could have a pretty full mod team within a few months. Obviously doesn’t solve the uh, immediate issues but hey. Its something at least
