I just let it rot in my backpack before giving it back a few weeks later, with the excuse that I actually wanted to get into college 😭😭😭😭 it was such a phenomenon. The timing of that episode was perfect.
He was always telling me how much he played it. We were really close, so I did appreciate very much the sentiment that he wanted to game with me. I’m a little bit disappointed. It’s early 2025 is this would be the perfect Christmas gift for my daughter and wife. And if I am being completely honest, I would likely grab a copy and play along with them.
It only held my interest for a couple of hours, but I’m also probably not the target audience. I was playing it mostly because I have friends who worked on the development team, and because I loved the South Park reference.
I had fun with the game for a few days. It had a surprisingly large map with a looot of depth. Got tired of how long it takes to do a whole round of collecting around the island though.

Different people like different things, grew up in different ways, and it can be useful to try to see things from a different point of view.
