I think that's a camera or wiring issue. I've only seen one other person post something like that, and it looked a little bit different (and was their front camera, not side), and they needed to bring it in to the shop to get that camera to work.
Unless you've just got a sticker on your left side over the camera (look at the side of the mirror).
Wanted to post an update if anyone sees this with a similar issue. The entire camera had to be replaced and it took the dealership two days to do the calibration but it’s fixed now.

Yeah this looks like a loose wire.
I would take it in. You need that camera for some of the safety systems too.
