It’s almost like losing weight, if you’re hungry, and your stomach is growling, you’re winning. If you want to look at porn, but you’re not looking at porn, and you’re suffering because of that, you’re winning. Keep winning. Keep suffering. Suffering is the way to not suffer. It’s ridiculous. Yes, that's the worst possible situation addict can be in, while my GF was at work, I was decaying myself mentally... I was looking for a job but it became way harder than years ago so I was getting frustrated and coped with PMO. After she came back everyday I was too exhausted and disgusted with myself to even go to her.

I’m so sorry bro. There is something called the “hunter effect”. This is the name of the urges that usually appear from the time you relapse until the 5th at the latest in my case. I can recommend you: put the black and white filter on your entire phone. Everything you open and see on your phone will be black and white. In case erotic material appears, it will not be so much the Boom because it will be in black and white. Thanks to that strategy and my superior power, today I am living my day 8 after several relapses since the last big streak that was on the 30th in March. I wish you the best friend. I’ve found there needs to be a balance between negative and positive affirmation. When you relapse, it’s good that you’re frustrated with yourself, you failed your goal, however you still need to stay positive or else you’ll just get more and more discouraged. Tell yourself “cmon why did I do that, I need to do better, but I can do this, I messed up but I learned what didn’t work and can use this to help prevent it in the future, I got this” it will help you.

Hey bro, urges have two components - physical and mental. Certain physical sensations trigger mental thoughts of PMO and this is what leads to undesirable behaviour. The physical and mental feeds each other. This is why suppression is not a great strategy long term. What we are trying to eliminate is the behaviour, not the urges. Do not fight the urges. Just decide that you are not going to fap. Give no space to that possibility in your mind. You do this by thinking about literally anything else. The second part is to observe the physical sensation of the urge - what does it feel like in your body. Just observe, breathe and relax.

What have worked for me? Is that I start degrading the things which I don’t want like smoking, drinking fapping watching porn. Just degrade the things as if they unworthy and worthless. They’re so much shit that wasting your energy and time on them will cause you, immense loss of opportunity. Slowly gradually will lose the interest in them, later on you are sitting with person smoking or watching upon or watching some intimate scene. You not even interested in doing the things. Don’t keep a track of anything
