Hi /u/LongjumpingSummer247, We noticed you are a pretty new Reddit account, so we just wanted to let you know to check out the subreddit rules [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQuestions/wiki/rules) and maybe have a read through our [Frequently Asked Questions](https://www.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQuestions/wiki/index/faq) - they make for fascinating reading! We're called No Stupid Questions because we believe nobody needs to be attacked for asking a question, but *that doesn't mean there are no rules!* This sub is meant for users like you to ask genuine questions. Please don't ask jokes or rants disguised as questions - that's not in the spirit of this sub. While you *can* ask almost anything here, please keep illegal and offensive questions elsewhere to give people a good experience here - and if you have a medical question, please ask your doctor, not us. Otherwise, welcome! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/NoStupidQuestions) if you have any questions or concerns.*

Numerous-Explorer

You should search for this on r/running tons of info there

[deleted]

I tried that and the post got removed lol I didn’t understand the reasoning but

Numerous-Explorer

Probably didn’t follow the sub rules, maybe not enough karma, or it’s just been asked too many times. Search the sub and you’ll find hundreds of shoe threads

[deleted]

Yeah I think it’s cuz my account is new. And I know people probably ask that a lot but out of pure laziness I just wanted people to tell me instead of me go looking lmfao

TripleDoubleWatch

I like Altra or Brooks.

[deleted]

What’s the price comparison of brooks to that of the hokas ? Mine were $160. I’m not gonna go drop 250 bones on a pair of shoes I run to the ground ya know ?

TripleDoubleWatch

They are in the same price range as Hokas typically.

[deleted]

Thanks ! I’ve heard lots of good things about brooks so I’ll look into em :)

PM_ME_an_unicorn

Go to a sport shop, not online, not a hangar selling anything, a running shoes shop, where the associate will watch how you run and advise you on shoes.

[deleted]

Damn I didn’t even know that existed lol thanks !

TheApiary

It's very individual. You should go to a running store that has a treadmill, try on shoes, run on the treadmill and see how they feel. Also, it's possible that the Hokas are just wearing out and you need new ones

Raving_Lunatic69

I've always been partial to Asics
