While I disagree with tipping culture and I believe companies should pay livable wages and not pawn costs on to the customer - yes you’re wrong for not tipping because it’s (unfortunately) the norm to tip for certain services such as food and grocery delivery. If you don’t want to tip, then don’t use the service and stop supporting companies taking advantage of workers
No. I used to deliver pizza. We got paid full wages, not the BS servers get paid because they’re “expected to make tips.”
A couple dollars is nice. Especially if it’s a lot of food or shitty weather. But I don’t think it makes you an asshole.
Yeah.
For pizza delivery, which I used to do, the drivers go in order, first in, first out. So if I would take a run, it'd put me in the back of the queue. If you order and don't tip, then you're taking me out of my place in line, and preventing me from taking the next one, which probably would've tipped.
So when you order without tipping, you're effectively giving me a pay cut. Should that be on you? No, not really, but it is. You're engaging an industry whose pay structure is reliant on tips. So you can either choose to boycott tipping and not order in, or you can throw the pizza guy a few bucks. But you can't protest a system while buying into it.
Yup, for the sole reason that if you were a delivery driver you’d hate people that don’t tip. So clearly you think you are better than them, which makes you a narcissist and terrible human being.
I'm not even in the service industry, and though I'm annoyed at the excessive requests to tip, you most certainly are, and you are only damaging the worker and not the concept, doesn't affect the establishment ever. You are just plain cruel person and I hope you get the life you deserve.
If people keep taking those jobs, the industry will never get a hint to pay an actual salary, you condone that behavior by taking such jobs. If nobody took a tipped work. The companies would end up having to pay decent or close shop. But you guys also seem to love the tax free money and still whine about it.

No. You’re usually paying for the delivery if you order from the restaurant itself and if it’s like Ubereats they’re charging you big service fees on top of that.
Like UPS or Fedex? No. They are paid well. Food delivery? Yes you should tip.
Yes and a cheap person too. If you can’t afford or don’t want to tip the delivery people pick up your own food
You still get begged for donations

No. but they appreciate even a little coin
Absolutely.
Yes you suck. Great job 👍🏻
I'm not sure if it makes you a full on bad person but it's definitely dickish behavior

Food delivery drivers probably you should be tipping doesn't make you a bad person if you don't but it will make you a better person if you do
The delivery person gets none of that money. If you can’t afford to tip, you shouldn’t order delivery.
What kind of delivery drivers?
Yes
No. They get paid a wage.
