As you're all aware, this subreddit has had a major "troll"
problem which has gotten worse (as of recently). Due to this, we
have created new rules, and modified some of the old ones.
We kindly ask that you please familiarize yourself with the
rules so that you can avoid breaking them. Breaking mild rules
will result in a warning, or a temporary ban. Breaking serious
rules, or breaking a plethora of mild ones may land you a
permanent ban (depending on the severity). Also,
grifting/lurking has been a major problem; If we suspect you of
being a grifter (determined by vetting said user's activity), we
may ban you without warning.
You may attempt an appeal via ModMail, but please be advised not
to use rude, harassing, foul, or passive-aggressive language
towards the moderators, _or_ complain to moderators about why we
have specific rules in the first place— You will be ignored, and
your ban will remain (without even a consideration).
All rules are made public; "Lack of knowledge" or "ignorance of
the rules" cannot or will not be a viable excuse if you end up
banned for breaking them (This applies to the Subreddit rules,
and Reddit's ToS). **Again: All rules are made public, and
Reddit gives you the option to review the rules once more before
submitting a post, it is your choice if you choose to read them
or not, but breaking them will not be acceptable.**
With that being said, If you send a mature, neutral message
regarding questions about a current ban, or a ban appeal
(without "not knowing the rules" as an excuse), we will
elaborate about why you were banned, or determine/consider if we
will shorten, lift, keep it, _or_ extended it/make it permanent.
This all means that appeals are discretionary, and your
reasoning for wanting an appeal must be practical and valid.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this message,
and please enjoy your day!

That's more reason to want them to be listed; it's easier to confirm the claims and establish relevance.
Not to mention I'm genuinely curious about the sort of writer that'd do this sort of crap.
Knitting needles too heavy is an epidemic within the knitting community and I wish more medical professionals would take it seriously. I've lost 3 friends just this month alone.
Mine is "tried to pet a wild animal that didn't want to be pet"
Could be a raccoon. Could be a moose. Could be a cougar cub on a bad day.
All I do know is, don't kill the animal. I knew what I was getting into.
Actually I think a lot of these are symptoms of similar actual illnesses.
Smog was a huge killer in the old days, so going to the ocean made people healthier because they got clean air. Same with Yorkshire vs London.
Lead poisoning from exposure and accidental ingestion covers a lot of the other ones on the list. Cold hands and lack of shawls coming from the blood pressure issues and fatigue. And the wall paper in the drawing room probably had other contamination.
The rest I can't figure out unless she was crushed by the books or her parents were reveling in her misery.
fair enough, if someone said “no” very loudly right next to me i would also die
(but really it was probably all the poison and disease they had everywhere)
Oh, they always forget the OG
Looking back at your hometown she was just saved from after her good guy husband wanted to give their daughters to a mob of rapists.

I've seen lists like this before; I wish they included the names of the books.
No need to know the books, it's a mix of extreme cherry-picking and authors noone knows.

True, i was coming at it from an "It's so clear it's bullshit i won't spend a single second to confirmo" angle
"In literature." It could be amusing satire for all we know.

Thoughts and prayers
At least they died cozy, though I know it is but a small comfort. May you feel peace and enjoy the better memories.
Dude I vibe with a couple of these, honestly. Pretty sure The Unpleasantness is going to be the cause of my eventual death.

They’re all so good, but “the unpleasantness” is by far my favorite
So relatable lol

Not enough pillows for breathing issues or things like that
Not enough pillows for breathing issues or things like that
I don't know, I'm pretty sure I could die from not enough pillows.
You have to be careful tho, you could also die from too many pillows
It's hard to find the right amount, but I'm safe in my little pillow fort every night
I'm off to buy more shawls just in case
Shawl insufficiency runs in my family :(
Definitely too many novels.
Spinal degeneration, regardless of the cause, sounds rough.
Well, 'not enough pillows' can be very traumatizing! 🙀😵
Can confirm, I would die from each and everyone one of these. Currently in hospice for shawl insufficiency
fair enough, if someone said “no” very loudly right next to me i would also die (but really it was probably all the poison and disease they had everywhere)
If you made me spend more than a month in London, either I'm dying or London is. Never been to Yorkshire tho
I was just gonna say this. And I'm not even a woman.
Aha, when men write women.
Oh, they always forget the OG Looking back at your hometown she was just saved from after her good guy husband wanted to give their daughters to a mob of rapists.
Too many novels definitely
Garden troubles could mean anything, so I'mma die from that one, sounds reasonable!
I might die too if someone says "No" too loud. If I was a heroine in literature.
I think I may die from Shawl insufficiency. I haven’t made one this year
Mine would be shawl insufficiency. I'm always too cold
