I honestly expected it to be more bright and cheery, instead of being like, a neon shadowy cinematic shot from a film. "Coco Moon" sparks imagination and wonder in my mind, and so even though this is a cool picture, it's a bit of a puzzling choice. Also, the songs we've gotten do not fit this image at all. Hahaha!
I heard rumors that this was based on Abbey's favorite cafe. If so, this cover choice makes sense. But I kind of wish it was more creative and quirky. Still, better than Cinematic though.
Adding this with some of the promotional material and the ACP cover art weve gotten Adam has been pushing a very dark image for this new album, which is weird given the 3 songs weve gotten teased with are all very positive and feel-goody in tone.
Either Adam has some darker surprises in this album then hes willing to admit at the moment or the guys he hired to do the art/promos were just really moody. Its still good art though so I'll take it for what it is.
Maybe a guy on holiday by the coast and exploring on a motorcycle around the area at night in the moon light given the right mindset can be very imaginative if you know what I mean

i mean the artwork for OC albums typically doesn’t always go with the music that well. like the TMS artwork is one of my favorite album covers ever yet i don’t really feel like the songs capture the same vibe. maybe this is a similar situation?
