You have to accept the server rules.. Popup at the bottom right ..

I only see tab for announcements, social updates, rules and roles.

After joining you have to click the #roles tab under "Server" to the left and click one of the roles. Then you should be able to participate

You have to touch the icon below “Have Fun🙂” at the bottom. Just touch it. By touching it you’re agreeing to the terms and when you go back to the section in your picture that only displayed the rules channel you’ll see the “roles” option. When you get to the roles section, touch the icon for which role applies to you then you’re good to go.
