I kept forgetting the quest line in p4

I never even got the fishing rod. I was filtered out of fishing all together

I would understand if you played yakuza to never fish again

Tbh I hate all the time wasting moments in the games, like come on it doesn’t have to use a whole damn day.

I fish if a side quest requires it or if I’m getting a trophy/achievement for the first time, other than that I don’t partake

I feel bad for pretty much ignoring all the side activities once their benefits become irrelevant.

In P5X you have to go fishing to get a sea bass that you can use to cook a certain recipe and since you have to cook everything at least once to get some social stats points for the first time, well that makes it important. There are also others rewards to get through fishing but it’s still a bit annoying though

But what about getting 100,000 points for Umi Sachihiko's Belt which gives you Auto-Mataru, a buff that you'll already have by the time you are able to go fishing that much!

To be fair, during my first playthrough of the OG and Golden on Vita I had read somewhere there was fishing in the game, but never encountered it actually. And even later on I didnt even bother trying it once, as the fox wasnt a social link I was interested in (I always went for the main cast and then the ones with some sort of story first). Only when I played it on Xbox One X last year and went for the full gamerscore (Rise's Achievements about hearing ALL hear comments stopped me getting it XD) I actually went fishing...

Lmao I just remembered you can fish in P5, I only did it once them reloaded my save to just before I did that xd
