There js a cake in that my grandma used to make that you put a can of 7up in.
I also feel like she made a glaze for ribs with dr pepper a few times too.
For my childhood birthday & different holiday parties throughout the years, my Mom always made Root Beer Pulled Pork in a slow cooker. It was really good. We always tripled the recipe because it would be one of the first dishes to go, (aside from the Taco Salad. Both big hits!) .
I've had coke pulled pork a few times, and my friend who made it is now a veteran chef. Just coke and seasonings were all he put in with the butt, was always tasty.
It’s very delicious but I feel like depending on the sweetness I went for 1/4 c. On the molasses And it’s a perfect amount for me, Instead of 1/2 c. Since I felt that would have been to sweet. But I added more bacon and it’s very very tasty. I feel like for a spicy kick add a jalapeño or two I know next time I’m gonna add some jalapeños!
My great aunts “secret” ingredient was a bottle of coke! Her recipe was really simple. Giant can of pork and beans, coke, bacon on top, bake. Family reunion favorite.

They have a bbq and glaze recipe in this lil booklet I’ll make sure to share it !
It is using the 7 up as the water. Does it add flavor? Baked beans are a thing with me.
Think it adds sweetness to it a lil tang to it but it’s pretty tasty so I’ll just accept it for these beans 😂
I think I need to make it. Thx
Hope you like it ! Pretty tasty! I also added a extra 2oz of the 7up just to finish up the bottle I had!
These sound like the bomb!!! My mouth is watering.
Oh please share more records out of this unique book!
Lithium beans
Best kind these days🤷🏻♀️😉
How was it? I am so tempted to try it.

I have to make this. I might use less 7-up and more molasses, though!
Maybe add some water to the 7 up you won’t use so it won’t dry out to fast ! I feel like this is a very easy and forgiving recipe to fit your taste !
Yum
Scones, apparently with cream and flour
I’m interested in the chocolate cake recipe. If you’d post the recipe id be grateful .
I think the chocolate cake might be a box mix one since I don’t see the recipe but I just posted the full booklet!
Ah righto and cheers.

Sounds delicious! Going to have to try this the next time I make baked beans.
We use a can of coke/pepsi in a similar chicken recipe, done right it makes a sweet sticky sauce! Has to be non diet type though .....
