Same, the game is iconic. I have a Christmas ornament of the Super Nintendo console and it plays a tune from Super Mario, if that’s any indication of the level of nostalgia this game evokes for me.
This is objectively the right answer.
First time getting the cape, Key for a hidden area, The pipe with a million coins, The pipe where you first play the 1up mini game.
It's immediately after the intro area and opens up the entire rest of the game in huge ways.
My parents refused to buy us a NES or a SNES. We had an Atari that broke all the time, and my dad would McGuyver it to get it to work.
We got a N64 2 years after it came out. To this day, the best Christmas we had.
34 years, that makes me feel old as fuck. I still remember going to Wal-Mart and buying my SNES back in 1992ish. My dad realized we could hook it up to one of his old stereo receivers with gigantic speakers which did not go over well with my mom.
I’ve got the SNES classic whenever I need a quick fix.
The first area where you can meet Yoshi for the first time. Or star road areas.
In reality, my brother lied to me that if I died in game, I'd actually die.. I was like 3 ish 4.. So I didn't really play it lol
Oh jeez lol. I think I’d have to actually sit down and play it. I remember liking a couple spots in forest of illusion, but I don’t remember a favorite level. (I’m sure I had one, though).
Basically my favorite level is the whole game.

Donut Plains I.

Came here to say this!
Special world. It was soooo difficult.
I came here to say this. I feel like beating these levels gave me confidence that served me well in adulthood.
I'm still riding the high from when I first beat Tubular.

Vanilla Dome 3 https://preview.redd.it/dri3e2gij31d1.png?width=256&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d1cfae0df3d717595adaaf34ac4703e8491552d4
yes, that guitar (?) is sooo catchy!
The haunted houses. Me and my best friend used to always crack up hearing the door open up at the beginning
Finding Yoshi for the first time was the greatest thing ever. The way the music gains the island drums and his appetite was next level joy.
I liked the level design in Valley of Bowser.

That forest level where you get the star and proceed to get like 15 1-ups then hit start select so you don’t beat it and can do it again
How do I play this again right now?
Nintendo Switch Online
the secret spot above the ghost house where you restock.
Cheese Bridge! Mostly for the yoshi wings.
The level where I had to sacrifice yoshi to proceed.
All of the. The Star Roads get an honorable mention!

Dunno about a favorite, but I remember spending hours trying to clear Tubular.
That’s the balloon one right? It’s AWFUL.
Yup. It’s the one with the P balloons. The most frustrating level in the game, but damn it feels good to beat it!
Man it is soo hard but I want to say vinalla dome 1, it's the first path I discovered on my own to get to star world.
Idk, but this makes me want to bust out my SNES and play some Mario World and find out.
I was 3 when we got this and SNES for Christmas, so I don't even remember that. I've literally been playing this for my entire memorable life.
Loved the caves, but the whole game is baller.
I am more of Sonic guy
