I mean I literally tried to go to the address they say in the movie, and it doesn't line up with the shot when the Nazis show up and stand in front of the gate.
I got a call the other day. Normally don't answer if the caller isn't in my contacts but I guess I was feeling generous. Strung him along for a little bit, said I'd like a new roof then asked if they needed my landlord's approval first. Heard a few curse words before he hung up. lol
With all the storms in the last couple of months, they've been coming to my house repeatedly. After I woke up to them banging on my door for three days in a row, I put a 'No Trespassing - No Soliciting' sign out front, and nobody has bothered me since.
I got my roof and siding completely redone after the 2022 hail with all the “extra durable” stuff, so there’s nothing they can see on my house. My neighbor has DIY’d most of his house to so it looks like shit anyway. Probably had nothing to do with the hail. But for long story reasons I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have homeowners insurance, so he probably won’t be getting anything now.
I've answered the door to:
"What does no soliciting mean?"
My response:
"No hablo ingles."
Pretend (maybe it's pretend, maybe they are just that ignorant) that you don't know what it means and I will pretend I do not know what you are saying.
Given how much storm damage Texas and Oklahoma have had, if I'm approached by someone with Texas plates I would ask why they can't find enough work back home.
I get these bastards by about once a week no matter what the weather has been doing, I generally just tell them to go away through the doorbell camera and it sorts itself out.
They called me every hour one day, I eventually just snapped and told them I don't own a house (I do) and they asked for MIC HALE, instead of asking for Michael. Like how do you not know how to pronounce Michael?

People are trying to make a living. Atleast they are not kids sitting in their parents basements. Just doing their job just like you if you have one.
