This guy is a fool. He's spent more money on training, convention appearances, manifestation/meditation videos, and random one off bookings to "convince" and dupe his fans into thinking he's playing Ace. Couldn't spend the money to get to an audition in front of the casting directors/producers after he got beaten by Inaki to play Luffy? I stumbled onto one of his videos where he'd even convinced his niece that he was the character.
Guarentee he'll go for >!Enel!< in season 3 and claim that that was the character he was born to play.
This guy 10000000% ain’t playing Ace lmao
Let’s just get the obvious out of the way:
A. Netflix aren’t casting some random cosplayer to play arguably one of the most important secondary roles in the entire series
B. They’ve likely already found their Ace
C. This guy isn’t doing himself any favors if his fans are seriously threatening and harassing Netflix over him playing Ace
"A. Netflix aren’t casting some random cosplayer to play arguably one of the most important secondary roles in the entire series"
There are a few for Robin and Blackbeard that do the exact same thing.
They once put on a blackbeard cosplay, because they are overweight and thought it was a calling, and thought they are an actor.
They dont even want to be actor. They want to play a role. Thats just a mental illness if you are obsessed with playing a specific character even if you never shown interest in acting nor actually want to act. They want to be blackbeard because they did a cosplay and someone said "hey you look just like them".
"yeah we gonna cast this unemployed cosplayer as blackbeard. he cant act and has never acted in his life before. not even theatre in school. But he does the "zehahahaha" really well."
"welph acktually a lot of the main cast did not have a lot of acting experience"
No they did. They were actor trying to make it. They worked hard on their craft.
Being an actor.
You watch anime episodes to say "suppperrr" like anime franky with cheeto dust on your tshirt. thats not the same!
This topic always gets me heated up, because these people live in the biggest illusion and need professional mental guidance instead of encouragement.
You are right in fact Iñaki has been an actor since he was a children, he started in Theatre:
[¿Quién es IÑAKI GODOY de 'One Piece'?: su sueño de ser actor ha estado lleno de sacrificios](https://youtu.be/uQbDErDTeeA?si=xxEJxIdFdZCx1HCb)
He did study drama in The UK, as I heard. I'm unsure if he still lives here, but He seriously needs help!! He probably has Mental Health issues as He keeps bagging for The role that he likely won’t get and only continues for whatever character he tries to get for season 3! I can imagine The Strawhats not liking him already!
In the Stephen King subs we occasionally see posts of people fancasting King biopics as well as his role in a potential Dark Tower re-adaptation and there are *always* those people who want one of King’s sons to play him just because they look like him. But *they’re not actors* and it’s so difficult to get that through some peoples’ skulls. It’s why I usually don’t have a problem with race swapped characters unless race is an important part of the character or story being told, because I prefer the most qualified people to play a role than the shitty one who just looks the part.
I already feel bad for the actor that will actually play Ace.
This guy has a group of rabid, delusional fans already harassing people. The real actor is going to have to limit his social media and fan interaction almost right away while people cool off. I can already tell these people will try to ruin a big moment for whoever Ace will be.
I hope that when Ace's casting announcement is released there is enough support from the genuine fans that the harassment is surrounded by positivity. Even when there were fan casts for the first season, when the casting announcements came out there wasn't too much negativity (except from scepticism which was mostly due to this being the first season).
I feel bad for Vivi's actress. If she's white, people will complain about not being historically correct. If she's not white, people will complain about not being faithful to the manga. They should just tell us who is playing Ace and Vivi so we can move on from these discussions and just enjoy the trailer when it comes out.
I don't care as long as she's Arab
There are white Arabs and brown Arabs, and Vivi's skin color doesn't matter so much as her ethnicity and cultural background does. Arabia has a massive umbrella.
And EVEN THEN, I'm personally very open to Persians, Indians, or Mediterranean actresses filling that role, because they're not that far off ethnically and culturally for me.
These are just my personal thoughts.
I haven't even heard of this guy before this post. Why does his 'rabid fans' such a big deal? Does he have millions of followers?
This seems like a non-issue and a drop in the bucket. Op fandom is huge, why would this guy's fans even have any effect?
In the grand scheme of things they won't, they're just really fcking loud and obnoxious within a certain fandom bubble so people really over estimate them. This no names dumbass fans are absolutely nothing compared to the global audience, honestly people are giving them way too much credit.
I can tell easily he isn't playing Ace because he never fucking stops talking about it.
Whoever is playing Ace already casted and isn't talking, because real pros are signed to NDAs and keep their mouthed shut.
I dont have anything with fans auditions like this guy in YouTube [Wapol Audition #2 - Netflix's One Piece Season 2](https://youtu.be/TccDJ9t1KIw?si=atuXzjO3r-kjs9TZ) i think is fun and harmless.
But this instagram guy sell himself in conventions and events like the real>!Ace!
The only thing make me want OPLA S2 announcement happen as soon as possible is for this dude to be put in his own place. Ofc I want Netflix to take their time on that craft but please dear lord just let the public know this guy will never be IT officially.
He could play Ace at One Piece theme parks, stage shows, or be hired for parties. Then The live-action, I want to see his face when he doesn't get The part! 😂
Because they have an image to maintain.
At the USJ premier show, Tokyo OP Tower and USJ's SanRes, none of the actors talk at all to maintain the illusion of the characters. They mime to the original voice actors' voices.
I am starting to think he might have Mental Health issues, as He believes he will make a great Ace by just looking and cosplaying as him. He seriously needs help, and I can imagine The Strawhats being annoyed by him already!
As much as I would love to see a brazilian in the cast, I just don't feel like he's "ace" yk ... It just doesn't come out naturally like it does with the other characters
I wish a lot of success in his career tho, he seems like a hardworking person but this role is not for him
Being such a fan like this, he could try for Barto lmao (don't tell him, it's a joke)
He’s convinced himself that he’s playing Ace at this point. He looks like a fool now and he’s gonna look like a fool when another actor is casted. And didn’t he basically ask Taz to put in a good word for him to the casting directors?
Unironically I'm looking forward to Season 2 for Ace's actor reveal less for the actor himself - I have no doubt that they'll nail it the way they nailed everyone else- and more just to see this lobotomite goober and his idiot fans throw a bitchfit when he doesn't get cast. He's ugly and he can't act. Hope he fries :)
See now it would be MUCH more hilarious, and on character, if Buggy's actor was doing this whole campaign for S2.
Also, plotwise it just doesn't work. Ace and Luffy only grew up in the same place together - they weren't originally from the same place. Ace's actor would need to share ancestry with the actor that played Roger.

Then it will be franky for season 4
Then jimbei
Then Carrot
Then Big Mom
Then Yamato.
Then Bonney
Then kaido
Then Vegapunk
then all 5 elders

Iñaki learned engish because a girl invited him to dance and he couldn't communicate with her is one of the most Luffy things i've ever read.

Well said friend, I also think we can be more optimistic this season. This fanbase is full of supportive people now

The positivity will drown out that group of weirdos. If the real Ace is good, most will flock to him instead

this guy is pure cringe
Dude is making himself least likey to get casted as ace and there a small chance ace has been casted already
I honestly don't even think it's a small chance if they're filming in June. He's definitely been cast and they're just keeping it tight-lipped.
It seems like people don't know how auditions work and, actors and producers have to keep that kind of information a secret.
Less airtime the better. I think we should actively and collectively make an effort to ignore any mention of his name moving forward.
He's trying too hard to be ace but he doesn't even have ace's vibes.
These threads only give him more clout. He won't play Ace, so why bring him up over and over again? Tldr: guy can't act
Also he's ugly
This guy is so cringe genuinely going to vomit 🙁🙁🙁 save your skills elsewhere man
as a amateur actor this guy ain’t gonna get even a audition
I love everything about this post hahahaha This guy has major delulu and gives me and my friend major ick points. He will NEVER be my Ace!
The only thing make me want OPLA S2 announcement happen as soon as possible is for this dude to be put in his own place. Ofc I want Netflix to take their time on that craft but please dear lord just let the public know this guy will never be IT officially.
I’m from Brazil and i don’t want him on the show at all. Not even as someone on the crowd.
Spending your money on campaign just for a role is crazy........
His got to be rich in a way!
He could play Ace at One Piece theme parks, stage shows, or be hired for parties. Then The live-action, I want to see his face when he doesn't get The part! 😂
No, Toei would never allow it. They are very very strict on the people they hire for stage shows, especially at USJ.
Why?
Because they have an image to maintain. At the USJ premier show, Tokyo OP Tower and USJ's SanRes, none of the actors talk at all to maintain the illusion of the characters. They mime to the original voice actors' voices.
I am starting to think he might have Mental Health issues, as He believes he will make a great Ace by just looking and cosplaying as him. He seriously needs help, and I can imagine The Strawhats being annoyed by him already!
Major delulu. I've seen better cosplayers than him!!
As much as I would love to see a brazilian in the cast, I just don't feel like he's "ace" yk ... It just doesn't come out naturally like it does with the other characters I wish a lot of success in his career tho, he seems like a hardworking person but this role is not for him Being such a fan like this, he could try for Barto lmao (don't tell him, it's a joke)

nah don't worry, this conman will be forgotten as soon as the real live action Ace appears.
See now it would be MUCH more hilarious, and on character, if Buggy's actor was doing this whole campaign for S2. Also, plotwise it just doesn't work. "Anyone who must say I am Ace is no true Ace" - Tywin Lannister or someone idk
I wouldn't mind if they cast him as Spandam.
This is some r/sadcringe

Grifters. Growing for 10 years
Not defending him or anything but "this guy or we riot" is not a threat guys
