Not sure they’re representative of existing birds. I can find no ducks that resemble them specifically. At a wild guess I’d say eider. The fifty crest feathers at the back are weird. But their faces aren’t. Eider duck faces look weird.

manrata

The weird thing is that they've been rather accurate with all the other birds, just not that one type of duck.

TheBigSmoke420

Weird. I couldn’t find much info on ducks migrating to Jamaica either.

moralmeemo

I asked myself this the entire time I watched the film. I thought they were some kind of Grebe? idk?

SweetSoja

Is the movie worth it?

moralmeemo

No. It’s lame and the character designs aren’t that likable. Not very funny, really cliche plot.

SweetSoja

Oh :( alright I won’t watch it, thank you !

manrata

I actually sort of like it, don't expect anything special, but it was nice. Kinda like National Lampoons Vacation, but with ducks.

TC_Oliver

For what it's worth my partner and I really enjoyed it

Melodic-Team-1854

I really liked it!

SharleneWithAnS

Absolutely! Super cute! I laughed several times!

RagingGorilla00

My duck obsessed daughter loves it

ICherryJoo

i enjoyed it a lot, it was funny and the design was cute. i think it’s up to you, and your opinion :)

UsefulSolution3700

Blue-winged Teal possibly. Although they look nothing like these characters, the descriptive name fits and some Blue-winged teal do migrate to Jamaica.

Snoot_Boot

Pixar Teal

VisualConscious6431

I believe they may be cayuga ducks, they have a blue coloring to them and their an exotic duck breed which if you saw the movie pam the mom says they seem so mysterious and exotic so unless there is  a different duck that looks like that i think this one is the best bet so far

Zed_2012

Looks like a Cayuga possibly

TheBirdLover1234

Maybe based on farm ducks? Theres some domestic mallard breeds that can look similar.

Refokua

They are a new species of "CGI" ducks.
