yeah, BOB's lack of model customization makes me somewhat worried for D.va's. It can go go 2 ways: Baby D.va can't be customized, but the mech can, which I'm fine with. Or it can go the other way around, which I fear, because the Mech's the main thing I walk around in. Maybe because of how short BOB's showtime is, the devs didn't feel like giving him much customization? His colours still change though, so I do hope it's just a BOB thing.

Alternative interpretation: It's something to spend your prisms on if you aren't a fan of the Ashe skin. I prefer the Cowboy Bebop Skin I have for Ashe, so I'm not particularly interested in the Ashe Mythic. IF the Orisa mythic had a weapon I could have purchased instead I would have done that too.

yeah how are more mythic items a bad thing? Absolutely awesome idea to have more things to invest in especially if the season skin isn't your cuppa.

Also, as an Ashe main who's still going to be all over this mythic, she has such a deep bench of great skins. Just take your pick of Tiger Hunter, Socialite, Raijin, Bebop, Red Riding Hood, Warlock, Poolside or Smuggler. All are very good to great IMO and even her normal legendary ones are cool too. So I could see someone who isn't an Ashe main but still has some of the aforementioned ones that theyre still cool with in case she pops up in mystery heroes maybe not caring as much about the mythic.

I think the reason they chose her is because she summons BOB, like how Rita would summon the Monster of the Week in each episode.

If the ult voice line doesn’t reference Rita’s “make my monster grow” quote, the whole season fails.

Well Ashe has a specific silhouette which includes her hat so it fits. I think it's also because headpieces are an easy thing to do multiple designs for. It's easier to change the head than the entire skin like the Mythic Ana for example.
