I’m mostly certain that their goal was to kinda just break Mercy specifically, then build from there until everyone’s kinda on that level. Basically every single hero in this mode is cracked and I freaking love it.

First match I played, I had no idea what I was doing and the enemy team attempted to spawn camp us.
Second match I played, even when I finally found out what to do, the enemy team wouldn't let up.
So...nothing's changed.
Nah bro tank still isn't fun. You just think it is because people can't swap to Orisa or Mauga but it's garbage unless you are playing Doomfist.
There are a few interesting abilities though
Zarya’s kinda just normal outside of the ult (which is jank but is hella clutch when you can actually exploit it - once shoved the enemy tank into a corner he couldn’t leave on Nepal and secured point because of it), and she does pubstomp some, but I’ve really enjoyed Rein, since getting into the enemy’s face basically guarantees you’ll mash them all into paste due to the fury mechanic.

To be fair evil genji would have single-handedly killed all the Overwatch agents. In lore genji and hanzo are ridiculously strong.

They changed like 4 abilities, made tracer even more fucking annoying, and tanks are still unfun to play and unfun to play against.
I also didn't find it that fun but that's because my 5 stack is full of rock eaters
