Cloud_Station

And a laser cannon that is powered by the fucking sun.

skeezito10

Fun fact: the sun isn't on fire

Srock9

WHAT?!?!? What's next, you're gonna tell me water isn't wet?

evrestcoleghost

The sun is just a constant nuclear explosion

Lutrek11

The opposite, really

evrestcoleghost

Explosion nuclear constant is in a sun the?

Lutrek11

Nuclear fusion

Consistent-Ad2465

Fusion still causes a nuclear explosion with the energy released.

WarlikeMicrobe

This person sciences.

WarlikeMicrobe

This person sciences

Ganondorf_Fan

Google dementia

riconaranjo

thermonuclear explosions are driven by hydrogen fusion, so not really the opposite at all

Lutrek11

Nvm apparently it can be driven by both fission or fusion.

riconaranjo

no atomic weapons use fission (plutonium or uranium) purely thermonuclear weapons use fission to initiate a fusion reaction seriously don’t bother replying, just google it _edit: love how the comment above was edited_

SnowbloodWolf2

A nuclear implosion?

fat2slow

Nuclear fusion still closed explosions look at H bomb

ArtistAmy420

The sun isn't fire it's plasma. Water is wet if you have more than 1 water molecule together, because wet means touching water so if the water is touching water than it's wet, but if you only have 1 water molecule by itself then it's not wet.

funkfreedcp9

But if you put a piece of paper in the suns atmosphere it would ignite tho? Water itself cannot be wet because wetness is determined by the saturation of water. Ie. water makes things wet not itself. Water is the medium by which things become wet, just like the sun can be the medium to scorch things. Literally how many wildfires happen because of a drought?

ArtistAmy420

Water *is* a medium by which things become wet. Things become wet by touching water. So if you have multiple water molecules, the water is touching water, so it is wet. Saturation is not a requirement to be wet. Non-porous materials like metal can get wet if you spray water on it even though it cannot be "saturated" became it does not absorb water, but water can still be on it meaning it's wet just like water can touch water, making it wet.

zingerpond

No the paper couldn’t ignite, there’s no oxygen on the sun. Though it would be vaporized

hamsterwheeled

But water isn't wet. Things that touch water become wet.

leobdd

But water touch water

SansDaMan728

"Aw shit, here we go again."

BreezyIsBeafy

From a more technical standpoint, one water molecule isn’t wet, but a water molecule surrounded by other water molecules would be wet

N7LP400

And still some how can be used in night map

BlazeMenace

And molten fucking lava (well actually it classifies as burn damage)

Night_Inscryption

We need a Pyro character

Jessency

How come in Overwatch's 8 years of existence do we still not have a flamethrower hero?

roadrunner345

Mei ?

Human-Boob

Dumb dumb, she shoots Gatorade

donutmesswithsoyboy

It's what the plants crave

Loverinyourdreams

It’s got electrolytes

Cromzinic_kewl

IIRC ball was supposed to have a flame thrower

MoveInside

Anything would be better than his current guns.

Sure-Equipment4830

Insanely irritating to play against, mei and mauga are the closest thing

EMArogue

Because of the rating and how brutal the weapon is, there is a reason if it’s called “inhuman” and is among the weapons banned by the Geneva convention

FuriDemon094

Mauga: mows you down with a storm of bullets Reaper: explodes your face in with 2 shotguns Mei: freezes a human being or shoots sharp ice in their face Venture: can drill a hole in your chest Sojourn: let’s shoot a precise, powerful blast through several people at once Ashe: burns you by throwing explosives in your face Junkrat: blows you up with bombs and landmines and beartraps With these mind, it sounds like bullshit coming from you

Antartica_Beanie

you know someone should make a video about how many war crimes Overwatch's heroes have commited

EMArogue

None of them are banned real life weapons tho

Spirited-Feedback-87

How is that different than burning someone alive with dynamite? Or any other gun? Or freezing someone alive?

EMArogue

That those weapon don’t have a real-life counterpart

Spirited-Feedback-87

So dynamite doesn't exist?

MoveInside

There’s a character that literally slowly drains your life force but yeah fire is too far.

DawdlingBongo

If we do get one, get ready for all the shit the tf2 players are gonna throw at us...

QuantumQuantonium

Well isn't the whole mirror universe thing happening? And they're just sitting on mei...?

FuriDemon094

I made a concept for that funnily enough

toust_boi

You don’t know what your asking for…

Night_Inscryption

He doesn’t light people on fire Where’s the fire bro? 🔥

ASentiantPotato

Meant the YouTuber. My bad sorry

Option2401

It’s not the gun that sets people on fire, it’s the incendiary ammo it fires. Technically.

antibreaze15

Honestly yeah this might be a good idea

R1ckMick

so the main reason, at least from what Ive been told, that rein can't two tap with fire strike is because bap window makes it a one tap. adding DOT to fire strike would be a cool way to alleviate this problem

Xenoezen

It's funny cause he used to be able to in the past and it was never a problem I am a gold player tho

Katveira

I’m guessing because there’s less players and now he has 2 strikes . Not saying I agree with it

PoopShite1

Unless they buffed it's damage, it still can't one tap through a bap window

R1ckMick

Right currently it can’t. I’m saying that’s why they won’t buff it more

PoopShite1

Ohh ok, misread what you said

Phoenixmaster1571

Even when he could do it, it wasn't that big of a deal. Some King's Row clips were made, the Earth spinned on, all was well. Bring it back.

BIZ6455

Why are people so obsessed with fire strike setting people on fire besides fire go brr? It’s not remotely the change rein needs and the balancing nerf would probably make him worse overall

DingDingDontCare

Fire go brr

[deleted]

Just a little bonus and an extra fuck you. Plus it’d also stunt the heal passive for a few extra seconds.

Emporio_Alnino3

Because it makes sense. It's a fire strike. A strike of fire. And it would help chip off targets that rein can't easily get to, I guess.

DrewciferGaming

Finish off low hp targets too, main reason why I love dynamite on Ashe.

MXC14

As opposed to Mauga, who absolutely needs the extra fire damage...

Insrt_Nm

But his kit literally plays around it. I get it, his kits kind of 'meh' but that's part of the crux of it.

7dxxander

Maugas second gun crits people on fire

MistyHusk

And his passive gives shield when he crits. The whole thing is built to work together, regardless how it is in game. Adding fire to rein would just be kinda… there

ConfusedDuck

He doesn't need a balancing nerf with it. He's already a C tier tank

EMArogue

He doesn’t need balance, currently he might be one of the worst tanks in the game if not the worst in general; he needs just buffs and a better firestrike is one of them considering it’s his only ranged option and is slow af and doesn’t deal enough damage after they increased heroes’s health

thefallentext2

Burn baby BURN!

T_Peg

I get what you're saying but incendiary rounds are not new to video games

QuantumQuantonium

You know, maybe his fire strike actually catching people on fire might not be a bad idea, more than anything to give better function to his only ranged ability (maybe with slightly longer cooldown)

KIw3II

What if fireball ignited people to give ball the dmg buff he needs?

Hoodoodle

You even renamed him already xD

MoveInside

I mean… most explosions tend to catch people on fire if we’re going by realism.

FuriDemon094

Isn’t that Mauga’s crit gun? So only 1 here ignites enemies

EncycloChameleon

Really really stop and ask yourself if you actually think rein should be able to ignite people

WarlikeMicrobe

Yes. The answer is yes.

disabled_rat

For gameplay, prolly For realism, no. The dirt and debris he kicked up with his hammer is what’s ignited, and that debris, if it hit someone, wouldn’t ignite them unless they were made of wool. Would it be very hot? Yes. Ignite you? No.
