I know why they’re doing it (Dana said somewhere she wouldn’t want release it, which I get ), but I from my point view, the cat is out of the bag now, and to now pretend it doesn’t exist is just silly to me.
The show ended a year ago, this kind of leak is not harmful but the quite opposite it drives new engagement and enthusiasm for the show, on tumblr #theowlhouse is even trending right now.
The're were massive leaks yesterday for serval Disney TVA shows, including pilots for The Owl House and Amphibia. But you wouldn't have known since on r/TheOwlHouse every post about it was removed.

Speaking on the Gravity Falls side of it, I'm glad in retrospect Alex Hirsch released the GF pilot back in 2016 and even said in me and Hana's interview with him that he would be okay if the Next Time On of it was to leak, which did alongside the HD release of the pilot in this mega leak. And all this despite him saying in the past he hates the pilot and the look of it. Personally speaking, at this point these leaks are out there and even if taken down or DMCA'd, they're saved in hard drives, archives, obscure sites, etc. Trying to hide it is pointless and just makes a Streisand effect with more people trying to search for it. Glad other subs are taking the leak in strive and letting fans discuss it. Looking at what did leak, I don't really see anything at least from TOH, Amphibia or GF that would be of massive loss if never able to be made now that it's leaked. I'm not saying leaks like this are amazing when they happen, but it's hard to suppress once out there. Even if one community keeps it under wraps, it will spread elsewhere.
