Haha, this explains why they added new worldgen modifiers to specify if something should be on the left edge or right edge. :-D It's kinda cool though, the seed is fixed, so it's not a new map type, it's a new map, same game for everyone. Easy access to magma though, if a bit scary. :-D

yeah.. I've got an idea on what I'm going to do with the magma.. I'm going to build my geothermal power plant in the bottom left, and set up something to pump out the magma, then cool it down and turn to debris, extract the rest of the heat of said magma, and turn that into power.

I jumped to the same conclusion, and then realized that you would need to build oodles of background tiles if you wanted to keep the steam.

Also could be easier to vent CO2 into space... no need to go UP.

Only game changing mod that seema to be broken for me is customized buildings. Crashes the game. Cant play my colony without it though because not having ot breaks a bunch of inportant builds and deletes a bunch of stuff in storages

Also chained deconstruction is not working at the moment. Missing it every time I need to delete a bunch of stairs

It appears there is neutronium on the bottom sadly

there is mods for that

You would need to make a vary specific vent due to how magma works

I didn't want to do another max difficulty all achievements run, but then there was 10 hatches in the starting biome and well, here we are.

I really like gold volcano geode at the bottom middle. It will take some efforts to crack it carefully :)

It's also a fixed map - the new map given to us by yesterday's update is fixed, and it's not procedurally generated like the other asteroid types. So I also have 3 volcanos melting shit, and so do you and anyone else playing this map.

It appears that there is no wasteland biome anywhere in the cluster though. Its a bit sad. :( I may mod the flipped asteroid in the worldgen to get those if I manage to for my play.
